Williamsburg Bread (i.e. Cheese Danish) Recipe

  • 2 cans crescent rolls
  • 2 pkg. cream cheese
  • 1¼ cup sugar1 egg yolk (save white)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ cup crushed pecans
  1. Spray the pan with cooking spray.
  2. Press 1 can of the crescent rolls in the bottom of 9x13 in. greased pan.
  3. Stir cream cheese, sugar, egg yolk, and vanilla until creamy.
  4. Spread mixture over crescent rolls. Press out the other can of rolls and lay on top of the creamy mixture.
  5. Spread egg white over the top and sprinkle ¼ cup sugar mixed with the cinnamon over the top of the egg white.
  6. Drizzle chopped nuts over top and bake 30 minutes at 350.
