Bacon Cheeseburger Salad Recipe

  • Giant Eagle Gourmet Bacon Cheddar Burger
  • Romaine Hearts
  • Mixed Salad Greens
  • Cherry Tomatoes
  • 1-2 Dill Pickle Spears
  • Shredded Colby Jack Cheese (or cheese of your choice)
  • Market District Texas Toast Garlic & Butter Croutons
  • Homemade Thousand Island Dressing:
  • 1 Cup Mayonnaise
  • ½ Cup Ketchup
  • 1 Cup Sweet Pickle Relish
  • 1 Pinch of Salt
  • 1 Pinch of Pepper
  1. Pre heat Grill on medium high heat.
  2. While Grill is heating, wash and chop romaine hearts (1/2 of one works well for 1 salad), and cherry tomatoes. Dice dill pickle spears.
  3. Place burger on hot grill and cook until no longer pink (approx 7-8 minutes per side).
  4. While burger is grilling, wisk together Thousand Island Dressing ingredients.
  5. Remove burger from grill and allow it to settle for 5 minutes, then chop into bite sized pieces.
  6. Start with a bed of lettuce. Top lettuce with pickles, tomatoes, cheese, croutons, and burger pieces. Drizzle with Thousand Island Dressing.
  7. Enjoy!
