Glow in the Dark Easter Egg Hunt

Easter is quickly approaching, and I am trying to come up with some new, fun ideas for my kids to take the sting out of not being able to see family and friends over the holiday. In my searching this morning, I saw a great idea that I wanted to share with you! Glow sticks/bracelets + Plastic Easter Eggs = a quick and easy glow in the dark Easter Egg hunt! I feel like this would be fun for kids of any age, especially right now. Make sure that the eggs you choose aren’t super thick or darkly patterned so that the glow will show through.

We like to put coins and candy in our eggs. Do you have any fun ideas for egg stuffers?

It’s funny that a month or so ago I was contemplating whether my kids were too old for Easter Egg Hunts, and now I’m grasping for anything fun to keep them busy and to keep them kids for as long as I can. I love that this idea is fun, inexpensive and easy!

Thankfully, it seems like there are lots of online options when it comes to assembling Easter baskets (Target, Etsy, Amazon etc…). Somehow I had already picked up candy for my kids back in February because I was prepping for a busy spring soccer season, so I’m good that way. But I’m happy to see lots of Easter candy available online for those who didn’t!

I hope to share more fun Easter ideas over the next week or so, but what love to hear your plans/ideas! What types of baskets are you assembling? Do you have any cute themed ideas to share? Let me know in the comments!
