Barnes & Noble Summer Reading Program

2017 Barnes & Noble Summer Reading Program

Summer will be here before we know it, and if you have school aged kids, you know that it’s important for kids to continue their learning in the summer. If you are like me, you probably want to keep learning as fun as possible, so that’s why I love programs like the Barnes & Noble Summer Reading Program. Kids can earn a FREE book by reading 8 books and recording them in the provided journal.

You can build your child’s library, or donate the book to someone who might need one. Either way, this program is a great way to encourage your kids to read. I have pretty much always loved to read, so I love anything that encourages kids to pick up a book! My first grader is now reading fluently, and it’s like her whole world has opened up…it has been so fun to watch. :-)

The B&N program is geared toward kids in Grades 1-6.

Here is how the program works:

  • Read ANY 8 books and record them in the Reading Journal found HERE.
  • Bring your completed journal to any Barnes & Noble Store between May 16 – September 5, 2017.
  • Receive your FREE book, chosen from the list included in the reading journal.
