How to Save Money on Gasoline with Fuel Rewards Network™ at Shell

It’s summertime and that typically means road trips! Even though the price of gas has come down recently, I am still always on the hunt for ways to save on gasoline. That’s why I love taking advantage of fuel programs such as those offered by my local grocery stores. However, when we travel, we can’t always find the same stores where our fuel points work. That’s why I’m exited about the Fuel Rewards Network™ program – especially because there is a Shell station on the way to my hometown – a place that we frequently visit in the summer.

When you sign up for the Fuel Rewards Network™ it’s easy to save on fuel!

Here are some of the ways that you can earn per gallon discounts on gasoline at Shell Stations:

  • Shop at Shell – purchase specially marked items
  • Shop Online via the Fuel Rewards Network™ website’s Online Mall
  • Dine Out – link a credit card to the dining out program and earn $0.10/gal for every $50 you spend at participating restaurants
  • Buy Groceries – check to see if your favorite stores offer the Fuel Rewards Network™ program (Bi-Lo, Hy-Vee, Winn-Dixie are a few of the larger chains that participate)
  • Refer a Friend – for each person who joins this program using your personalized link, you’ll receive a bonus (there are no limits to how many you can earn)

Fuel rewards savings are limited $0.75 per gallon on 20 gallons of gas, per purchase, per vehicle.

I have been using this program for a couple of years now and really like it. It was easy to sign up (I opted to not add my credit card), the program is FREE, and I save $0.03 per gallon of fuel (minimum) all of the time with my Fuel Rewards Network™ card. I also like that you can check your rewards balance by texting ‘Balance’ to UFUEL (83835).

You can find more information and sign up for Fuel Rewards Network™ here.
