So what’s on your list for this summer? My girls and I plan to see LEGO movie, spend time at our local library playing on the computers and taking advantage of their summer reading program, eating lots of ice cream and playing with friends. We’ll also do our best to work some learning into the summer so that the kids aren’t rusty when they go back to school in mid-August. ;-)

Do you put together a summer bucket list? I’m hoping to do that this year now that my kids are getting old enough to give me good ideas on what they want to do. I find that we’ll let too many days waste away if we don’t have a plan for at least some of them. I am very blessed to be able to spend this time with my kids. I do not take it for granted, that is for sure! In addition to unstructured time, my kids will be participating in 2 camps each and attending VBS at our church. We already went on vacation for spring break, so I’m not sure if any other trips are on the horizon for us, but I would love to take a road trip to Georgia to see my brother and his family if time permits.

Whatever you get in to this summer, I hope that you have a great one!
