And while this isn’t a craft, my girls had a lot of fun making “turkey toast” last year on Thanksgiving morning – inspired by this pin. It was a super easy activity for the kids to do with food that I already had on hand.

As you can see in the picture below, my then 2 year old favored the mini chocolate chips. ;-)

Turkey Toast Directions:

Simply toast 2 pieces of bread, spread a thin layer of peanut butter on both, and cut 1 piece of the bread into 5 strips. Arrange the bread like a turkey on a plate. Set out small dishes of toppings such as: cheerios, mini chocolate chips, dried fruit (cut into small pieces), fruit snacks, raisins, and pretzel bits. The possibilities are endless! Then, let your kids create and eat while you are working away in the kitchen. Or enjoying a cup of coffee nearby. ;-) Find more Turkey Themed Snack Ideas here.
