Buffalo Chicken Nachos Recipe

It’s week 4 of my Nacho Recipe Series and I have had fun introducing you to my recipes for Chicken Bacon Ranch NachosBLT Nachos, and Philly Cheesesteak Nachos. Up this week is this fabulous recipe for Buffalo Chicken Wing Nachos – two favorite appetizers rolled in to one!

These are great for a party – but would also be well received as fun weekend lunch or dinner. My family prefers ranch dressing with these nachos but I think they would be amazing with blue cheese dressing or real blue cheese crumbles. Add more hot sauce if you like it spicy, use your favorite chips, and customize this dish to suit your family or friends.

I often have shredded chicken on hand in the freezer. I like to cook chicken breasts in my crockpot with salt, pepper and minced garlic. When it’s done, I shred it and use it on sandwiches (mixed with a little bbq or plain), in quesadillas, on nachos, in soup…the list goes on and on!

Buffalo Chicken Wing Nachos Recipe
  • 2 cups cooked shredded or cubed chicken
  • 2 Tbsp. Buffalo Sauce
  • 2 stalks Celery, diced
  • 2 tsp. Hidden Valley dry ranch mix
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • Ranch dressing for topping
  • ½ bag of tortilla chips
  1. Pre-heat your oven on Broil.
  2. In a bowl combine: chicken, buffalo sauce, and dry ranch mix.
  3. On a baking sheet covered with parchment paper or aluminum foil spread tortilla chips. Cover evenly in chicken mixture, and then cheese.
  4. Broil on high until cheese just starts to bubble and turn brown.
  5. Remove nachos from oven, top with diced celery, and ranch dressing and serve.
