Menu Plan Monday | Week of 5/6/13

We have been enjoying lots of beautiful spring sunshine here in Central, OH! We ended up deviating from last week’s menu plan on Sunday night and grilled steak and potatoes – it was a great way to end a beautiful weekend. Eating on the patio is one of my favorite things about spring/summer. That and the fact that my husband mans the grill and helps out with the cooking. ;-)

The theme for this week’s menu plan is quick and easy. We have a lot going on and will be eating with family several times, so I didn’t have to plan very much. I’m going to be consumed with end of the years school activities and planning a birthday party for my soon to be 3 year old – and I’m not going to have a lot of extra time to spend in the kitchen for the next several days!

Here is what I’m planning for our dinners this week:

  • Monday – Pizza at a school event for my first grader
  • TuesdayHoly Yum Chicken (I’m using breasts instead of thighs), Rice, Frozen Veggies
  • Wednesday – Burgers and Hot Dogs on the Grill, Chips/Pretzels, Fruit
  • ThursdayTurkey Meatloaf (from the freezer), Egg Noodles, Frozen Veggie
  • Friday – Eat Out
  • Saturday – Dinner with Family
  • Sunday – Frozen Pasta Meal – unless someone decides to cook for me for Mother’s Day ;-)
