Amazon Gifts for Kids for $5 or Less!

by Marcy on December 11, 2012 · 4 comments

I took my 2 year old out shopping this morning and we didn’t make it very far. Her temper tantrums are beginning to do me in, so I decided to finish up my Christmas shopping online. Even the little stuff. Typically I save stocking stuffers and $5 or less gifts for the store.

Because I’m doing the research anyway, I thought I would share some of my $5 or less finds on Amazon since that’s my favorite online retailer! Maybe some of these will help you out too, if you are in the same boat as me and can’t bear to set foot in another store until the holidays are over!

Please note that many of these items are “add on items” and only ship free with $25 orders!

Don’t have anything to add to the list since my kids are grown but I’m so sorry to hear about your morning. I so remember those times of stepping foot into a store/restaurant only to turn right back around and leave.

Thanks Marie! I’m hopeful that it’s a phase…but it has been a rough couple of weeks! It’s a good thing she’s cute! ;-)

Thanks for this list; my 5 year old is also throwing temper tantrums with the whole ‘no, I don’t want to_______’ that has lasted since summer. Had a friend recommend calling his bluff…so I’ve left many places lately, it sucks. BUT on the positive side of it, he’s changing his mind & saying he will ____ a lot quicker. Now if I can just get him to stop the head butting or the screaming bloody murder ‘no’ beforehand. LOL
But this too will pass & I’m not saying you should try my method with a 2 yo. Just know that if you are ever over in the Reynoldsburg or Pickerington area & you hear a kid with an ear splitting tantrum going on….it’s probably me
Now off to do some online shopping!

I’d love to see your list as I have three young children, but I can’t get the link to work.

My two year old little boy has started the temper tantrums too, but thankfully his older siblings (4 and 6) can usually distract him so it hasn’t happened yet while we’re out.
