Motorola Xyboard Tablet Review using the Verizon 4G Network #VZWSS #samp

For the past several months I have been a part of the Verizon Wireless Midwest Savvy Savers group – and I have had the opportunity to review the 32GB DROID Motorola Xyboard 10.1 tablet, using the Verizon 4G network . My only prior experience with a tablet is with the 1st generation iPad…only using Wifi – not the Verizon network – so I was excited to check this tablet out!

I am totally and completely new to DROID, and I have definitely had a little bit of a learning curve. I have had to look things up and refer to my manual a few times, but I am finally getting the hang of things!

Here are some key features of the Motorola Xyboard that I am reviewing:

  • 10.1″ HD Screen
  • Dual Core 1.2 GHz Processor
  • Dual Cameras/HD Video
  • 9mm thick and 1.3 lbs
  • Gorilla Glass (repels water and resists scratches)
  • Verizon 4G LTE

On the positive side, so far I can tell you that I absolutely LOVE the Verizon 4G network. As a long time Verizon customer, I cannot say enough good things when it comes to the reliability and speed of their network. Being able to take the Motorola Xyboard with us wherever we go without having to mess with WiFi has been awesome! I also love the portability of this tablet. Compared to my 1st generation iPad, the Motorola Xyboard is much sleeker and easier to handle – and I love having video capability! All of that being said, I do think that the Xyboard is a bit on the pricey side. However, if you are a DROID loyalist, I don’t think you’ll be at all disappointed with this tablet.

Stay tuned as I become more familiar with this tablet – I have lots of great to share with you about the Motorola Xyboard tablet!
