Menu Plan Monday | Week of 2/27/12

by Marcy on February 27, 2012 · 0 comments

It’s Monday, and that means it’s time for Menu Plan Monday over at I’m an Organizing Junkie. Last week was my first true effort at planning a menu in a really LONG time, and it was only semi-successful. Between birthday party planning and a little monkey in my house getting hurt, we didn’t stick to the plan as much as I would have liked. But there is no sense in beating myself up about it. That just means I can move some of the meals to our plan for this week. :-)

Now on to the plan, with some help from some of my Stretching a Buck Facebook friends:

  • Monday – Bob Evans (per my 6 year old’s request for her birthday)
  • Tuesday – Chili from the freezer, corn bread
  • Wednesday – Cheese Tortellini (I buy frozen) with Homemade Meat Sauce (will freeze half of the sauce for a future meal)
  • Thursday – Dinner date with my husband! (belated birthday dinner for me)
  • Friday – Teryaki Chicken, Rice and Veggies
  • Saturday – Homemade Pizza
  • SundayMexican Slow Cooked Pork Carnitas in the Crockpot (this looks YUMMY!)

Stay tuned tomorrow when I share a meal that I cooked in my new series, Cooking at Home with Stretching a Buck! Are you new to Menu Planning? Read some of my Menu Planning Tips here.
