■Limit of 12 “Like” coupons per day
■Limit of 2 “Like” Internet coupons per day
■No stacking electronic coupons with manufacturer coupons. However, it doesn’t go on to say if electronic coupons are e-coupons are smart phone coupons.

2 Mary October 6, 2011 at 10:21 AM

Giant Eagle is changing their coupon policy effective today. It appears that you can’t stack their e-offers with manufacturer’s coupons anymore.

3 Kristina October 6, 2011 at 10:41 AM

Yep – in a nutshell – no stacking eOffers with paper coupons on the same item. Limit 12 like coupons per 24 hrs per advantage card. Limit 2 like internet coupons (does not say per 24 hours) – no internet “Free” or “BOGO Free” coupons. I sure hope they drop their prices. They will not be even close to Meijer or Walmart if they don’t.

4 Kristina October 6, 2011 at 11:05 AM

Oh – and they increased the days you have to apply coupons – from 7 to 10 days after purchase… I guess that is a bonus in there =)

5 Jody October 6, 2011 at 11:55 AM

Coffee Mate has printable coupons on their website if you sign up. You can print up to 2 of each coupon. There is a $0.75 off (2) 15oz or larger and a $0.55 off (1) 15 oz or larger. Making the 16 oz bottles $0.40 to $0.75 each.

6 Kim October 6, 2011 at 11:55 AM

There is a 55 cents off Mardi Gras napkin coupon from 10/2…not sure which insert it was in.

Blue Diamond Baked Nut Thin Crackers (4.25 oz.), 2/$3
$0.75/1 Blue Diamond Nut Thins, exp. 11/30/11
(SS 08/28/11 R)
FREE after doubled coupon!

8 Leatha October 6, 2011 at 11:15 PM

What would be the incentive to use GE eOffers now since they don’t double these, right? I guess they figure some $ off is better than nothing.

9 Jennifer October 7, 2011 at 8:53 AM

leatha, if there are no paper coupons available the e-Offers are still nice. this will take more organization at the checkout to remember what e-Offers are loaded to your card and what paper coupons you have.

10 Matt October 7, 2011 at 10:02 AM

1)What happens if I have a coupon I want to use and I happen to have clipped an eOffer. Would they take that off, or am I out of luck for the Coupon?
2)What about other site electronic coupons (shortcuts, upromise, ect.?). Can those be used at the same time as coupons?
3)They don’t mention a time limit for the 2 limit internet coupons. Can it just be a limit of 2 per transaction?

11 Jan October 7, 2011 at 12:17 PM

woops… cancel the deal on the Blue Diamond Baked Nut Thin Crackers… bad info from another site… cannot locate coupon :-(

12 Shannon October 7, 2011 at 5:35 PM

Even though you are technically not allowed to use Ecoupons and regular coupons together you still can. The register allows it and the cashiers don’t really check, as I did it today with six different items. ALSO I know that you can only use 12 coupons per day and while I doubt this is actually tracked by your Giant eagle card (which means you could basically go out put the groceries in your car and go back in and buy 12 more) if it happens to be tracked by your card you simply just have to get a second card. Have your husband get a giant eagle card or use your sister, mother, fathers giant eagle card. That way you can get way more than 12. While these rules make my grocery shopping slightly more tedious, they really do not change the way I was doing things previously.

13 vicki October 8, 2011 at 5:09 AM

@shannon, it is not a limit of 12 coupons per day, it is 12 like which means only 12 of the same coupon and only 2 like internet which means only 2 of the same.

14 Leatha October 8, 2011 at 7:34 AM

@Jennifer, I agree with. That’s a good reminder, thanks!

15 Tammy October 10, 2011 at 2:35 PM

My GE would not do both my eCoupon and my paper coupon. At my GE, the computer took off the eCoupon once the paper coupon was scanned. Also, I got a very vigilant check out lady. My GE won’t let me use store coupons with a manufacter’s coupon. I was told “absolutely no stacking of any kind.” And was kindly handed the new coupon policy. Only saved 39% this time around. May have to find a new place to shop. :-(
