Recently I was asked to share how I spend my afternoon “snack” time, and to try Kellogg’s FiberPlus bars. Here is a brief video sharing some of that info with you (excuse the quality, still working on my “vlogging” skills ;-)):
As the mom of two young girls, I am constantly having to remind myself that I need to take care of ME so that I can take care of them. As a nursing mom, it is important that I eat properly and drink enough fluids as well.
Right now our snack time doesn’t always include a “stretch” or walk – but this is something that I am hoping to incorporate into our daily routine – especially now that my 5 month old’s schedule is becoming more predictable. On the days when we are able to get out for a walk, I always feel better, and I think that my daughters do too. And quite honestly, a few simple stretches should be attainable for most of us, right?! :-)
As I mentioned in my video, Kellogg’s FiberPlus bars are quite tasty. I don’t know why I was surprised, but I was! My ‘3pm’ snack time is spent cross stitching.
I spend my 3PM break walking, then I grab a quick snack on my way back to my desk.
My 3pm is spent relaxing on the couch, usually my 2 year old is finally down for a nap at that time.
I spend it trying to eat something easy and healthy snack. Something like fruit or peanut butter crackers. These bars sound yummy and I would like to try them.
At 3pm, my co-worker and I usually walk next door to our office to the local carryout and get a not-so-healthy snack. Would be nice to have something healthy with fiber to keep me on track until dinner time.
my 3pm break is taking a deep breath and quick moment to convince myself I can make it another hour at work! :)
I work all day, so my 3pm break is a walk to the kitchen to get some more water.
Popcorn is often our favorite after school snack.
I spend my break sitting out back on my swing with some lemonade when the weather is nice.
If I must snack I *try* to snack well…..a banana or yogurt with some fiber cereal mixed in for some crunch.
At 3 pm, I am looking for a snack and taking a break by channel surfing for 30 min. Getting all that fiber in a delicious bar sounds wonderful!
Usually around 3pm is when I start lagging behind a little bit, so that is the perfect time to lay on the floor and let my 1-year-old use me as a jungle gym =)
I usually take my break at work around 2-3 pm and talk to my friend on my cell phone while I walk through the neighborhood near my work place. On a stressful workday it really helps to get out and stretch and clear my head.

I spend my break drinking a Coke,and eating a light snack and I do have a horrible sweet tooth so sometimes I have a candy bar,I got chocolate caramel apples this week, yum!
3pm is waking up the girls from a nap and rushing to school to pick up the kindergartner! how i would love to pause and have a FIBER BAR instead! :)
I actually DO take my afternoon break at work at 3. :) I go outside to get some sun and stretch my legs.
I ususally spend that break time reading or walking. I have to get away from my desk and office for a few minutes to recharge enough to finish out my day!
I am usually cleaning up the house at pm or maybe outside with the kiddos! Great job!
Break time is about 3pm ..a walk some ice water and a Kellogg bar….energized for the dinner rush.
i spend my 3 pm break driving my son from school to gymnastics, so i am in the car for one hour. i listen to a book on tape while driving, that’s my break!
I usually have almond butter with chocolate chips stirred in. Yum Yum, Two monounsaturated goodies rolled into one. When the weather is nice I sit outside under our trees and read.
I don’t get a 3pm break since I am a teacher and am still teaching at that time, but after the bell rings at the end of the day, I always make sure that I take a little break and go to the other end of campus to the office and to do that I walk outside, so that is my little stress-reliever of the day.
I like to spend my break eating a piece of fruit.
I usually grab some yogurt with granola and pick up my girls from school.

I work all day, so I’m normally stuck in front of a computer at 3 pm! But I do like to take a few minutes to get up and stretch and walk around and sometimes I’ll have a snack. Today it was a banana!
I spend it making healthy after school snacks for my kids and eating one for myself too!
My 3pm is MY time to read, get online, do some “quiet” work, or nap while my 2 year-old daughter is taking a nap!
I would just be picking up my daughter from school so when we get home she gets to decide what snack we have. sometimes pudding and other times crackers.

3pm is when my daughter is usually napping and I either, packing orders for my online store or doing house work.
I don’t take much of a break, using trying to figure out what’s gonna be for dinner..
My 3 PM “break” actually consists of cleaning, I know, but it is a break for me assuming the little one is down for a nap.
3pm break usually involves a trip to the bathroom and a stop at the water cooler to refill my cup before heading back to my desk for the last hour of work.
I spend my 3pm “snack-time” doing quick cleanup or checking FB!

I am a mom of 5 (6,5,3,2,1month old) so my 3pm isnt a “break” i’m usually running around getting the kids a snack or helping someone with homework, or breaking up a fight, or nursing my baby girl. but it all passes and we move on. most the time I have no idea what time it really is :)
My 3PM snack is my time…as it is because in about 1 hour I will be fighting 3 kids on homework, giving them their after school snacks, and then starting to prepare dinner.
3 p.m. break is spent picking up kids from school and bringing them home for their snack.

I am usually preparing my lessons to teach the next day (homeschool), but I have started to walk on the treadmill for 1/2 hour in the afternoons to lose those stubborn 10 pounds.
I have diverticulosis, so it is important for me to get LOTS of fiber. Haven’t tried these yet, but would like to for my snack!!

My 3PM “break” really isn’t a break since I’m usually still at work, but when I can it’s time to grab a glass of water and maybe a spoonful of peanut butter to keep me going for the rest of the afternoon!

My 3pm break is my “me time”! As a stay at home mommy with a 3 year old and 1 year old we are GO GO GO all day long…when they nap— I get to chill, shower, read, have a snack, anything I have been wanting to do for myself. When they wake…it is all about my babies…back to business! :)

Snack time at our house is usually after my daugther gets home from school, and when my boys are up from their nap. We raid the pantry and they usually choose something different everyday for snack … pretzels, crackers, fruit snacks, granola bars, fruit. When I take my break I usually lay down and try to read or take a cat nap before the kids come home from school.
3pm is usually right after my daily workout, so I take a nice shower, pamper my body with aromatherapy lotions and then get on the computer and read some emails.
3 PM is when I get ready for the next day with kindergartners.

If only I had a break! Between working and taking care of my son I never have a spare moment for a break. I need to find some way to have a small break each day for myself.
On the computer, always mean to do something else but never seem to get away from the darn computer. But at least i am finding deals while doing it!!

I spend my 3PM break usually trying to take a nap as I have systemic lupus and rheumatoid arthritis. By this time of day, my body needs a break with a nap and maybe a nutricious snack.
Unfortunately my 3pm ‘snack’ usually is turned into my 3pm ‘lunch.’ I try to grab lunch quickly while my daughter is napping and as I run around frantically getting things ready for dinner. I do, however, really like the fiber plus bars! Yum!

I’m taking 17 units and work so I don’t normally get a break, but when I do, it’s with my eyes closed and sipping hot cocoa.

Three is about the time I start scrounging in my desk for a snack. I try to keep healthy options in there like granola bars, raisins, wheat crackers and cheese in the fridge.
I generally feel like my energy is running low at 3pm and like I need something to refuel myself like something to eat. I sometimes have a snack and then I feel better. Otherwise it is hard to concentrate on my work.
At 3pm I’m asleep or almost asleep on my desk at work…
