Freebie: Chipotle Kids Meals w/Purchase – Central Ohio Only

by Marcy on August 13, 2010 · 3 comments

There were weeks during my last pregnancy that we would eat at Chipotle twice per week – my craving was Mexican food, and it was so bad I would save a taco from my order for breakfast the next day! :-) Now that the baby is 3 months old, we are still going to Chipotle at least once a week – so I was excited to hear about this offer – valid only in Central Ohio (to my knowledge).

To celebrate the addition of kids meals to the menu at Central Ohio Chipotle stores, they will be offering FREE Kids Meals with purchase for the next 4 Sundays: 8/15/10, 8/22/10, 8/29/10 and 9/5/10.

We stopped in last week and ordered a kids meal for my daughter and I was impressed with the amount of food that we got for the money. She got a small cheese quesadilla, black beans, rice, a small bag of chips and an organic milk box for $2.95. There are other varieties of kids meals available as well, and drink options include apple juice boxes, and both white and chocolate organic milk boxes.

After doing a quick google search it appears that Chipotle runs this promotion whenever they add kids meals to the menu in various cities. If you are aware of this promo running in your city right now, please let us know!

Thanks for the heads up. One of the reasons we stopped going to Chipotle so much was the lack of kid’s items.

Cincinnati is running the same promotion! I just got a free kids meal today–it’s one per burrito/bol/tacos.

Cheryl, Chipotle has always had kids options… Although sometimes even the employees didn’t know about it. I used to order kids rice and beans for my daughter when she was a toddler (about 2007/2008) and it only cost about $1. And she never finished it either! (but for $1 I was ok with that, or I would save it for later) If the employees didn’t understand “kids rice and beans” then I would say “side of rice and beans”. I still get that for my son who won’t eat the chips in the kids meal.

And the quesadilla, my sister was ordering that way back in the day (pre 2002). I think it was a $1 or $2, I don’t remember exactly though. Of course it didn’t come with that adorable little bag of chips or a drink.

They will make anything you want as long as they have the ingredients. Sometimes they confused if that store isn’t used to it though.
