Q-tips cotton swabs has teamed up with celebrity nursery designer, Wendy Bellissimo, to introduce the newest addition to the Q-tips family – Q-tips Baby Packs. Q-tips are great for cleaning and applying ointments to baby’s skin, cleaning around a newborn’s umbilical cord and cleaning baby’s outer ear (not inner!!), neck folds and between their tiny toes.
To help celebrate the launch of the new Q-tips Baby Packs, there will be a Twitter party this week – complete with giveaways and great tips from Wendy! The party will take place on Thursday, February 4th at 8 p.m. EST., hashtag -#QtipsBaby.
I recently received my own Q-Tips Baby Packs and they are adorable! They are sturdy and compact and would look great in any nursery. I am excited that I also have the opportunity to give a Q-tips “Perfect Nursery” gift pack to one of you!
The gift pack includes:
- NEW Q-tips Baby Packs in two designs (safari & farm animals)
- A silver elephant bank to display in baby’s room
- A great tip sheet from Wendy Bellissimo on how to create the perfect nursery
What am I giving away?
One reader will receive a Q-tips “Perfect Nursery” gift pack.

An essential nursery item to me is a humidifier or vaporizer. It’s great for when babies or kids get sick and it’s also great for white noise so baby sleeps better.
canNOT live without a diaper pail!

The changing table was one of the best things in my son’s nursery.

I can’t live without my Diaper Champ. So much better than wasting money on expensive diaper pail refills. BTW, can somebody tell me how to keep baby still to clean her neck folds with a Q-tip? My chubby four-month baby girl is a flailer!
We couldn’t have lived without generic zip sandwich bags. We didn’t do the Diaper Genie thing. We just slipped the diapers into the cheap zip bags and tossed them into a trash can (the kind with a foot pedal for the lid). My husband would empty that into the main garbage cans at the end of each day. It really worked to keep the odor down without having to buy any fancy (and expensive) equipment.

My kiddo get’s Aquaphor applied generously 3 times per day. We could honestly not live without this stuff. The air in our house is so dry, thanks to cold Michigan winters.

You may laugh – but truly one of my favorite nursery / baby (and even toddler) items are these q-tips! I love the safety ball on them so you don’t stick them in too far into little ears or noses. I am actually out of them – and need to pick some more up. Pick me! I’d be so excited to win!!!!!!

Oh gosh, I have to pick a favorite? Do coupons count?! :) Maybe this isn’t a “nursery essential” but I’m gonna have to say my digital camera. I’m not picky about wipes or diaper pails or where I change diapers (just gotta be cheap!), but I gotta have that camera to capture those moments! Our tax refund is gonna get us a new Canon Rebel digital SLR this year. We are sorely in need of an upgrade!

When we first brought our baby home, I was SO glad that my parents decided against the glider we had put on our registry and got one of the super comfy Dutailier gliders. Spending many nights sleeping in it made it my must-have. Now, seven and a half months later, I use my Boppy every day.
I couldn’t live without my monitor – It keeps me informed as to what is going on upstairs!!
