Hi, please put me in for the dockers..Thanks for all your information that you post.
Cecilia
I posted a comment on facebook about what my husband did for me for Valentine’s Day. Thanks for considering me!
i love docker’s on my man! :)
This year due to the fact that I have been dealing with horrendous morning sickness and stuck inside due to the record breaking snow amounts in Maryland, I wasn’t able to do anything special for my hubby. However for the past week or so, all that has sounded good to me were blueberry muffins. Now you may not think that is a big deal, but I have Celiacs, and the gluten free muffins I was craving are from a store an hour away. He surprised me and picked up a pack along with beautiful gerbera daisies (my favorite!) He even had a card! Of course he had to travel down roads that were barely passable due to the snow, but he did that just for me and it made me feel like the most special person in the world.

My husband got me a pair of custom-made bookshelves. :) He probably doesn’t need to get me anything else for a couple of years now.

I slept in until 10 am! if that wasen’t enough, I found that my husband had done the dishes, laundry, swept the house, and made a huge breakfast with the kids for me!

My husband made me dinner for Valentine’s Day. Steak, lobster, asparagus, garlic butter new potatoes, and chocolate dipped strawberries for dessert (okay, so I made the strawberries:) ). This has been my gift every year we’ve been married, and I look forward to it all year long.
My super-health conscious husband made me chocolate covered popcorn–my favorite!
My husband bought me a Dyson I’ve been stalking for a year now. Yeah a vacuum isn’t that romantic but I love it. I hated my old vac but I’m cheap and may have spent another year or two looking for that perfect price.
He bought me a purple flower plant that will go in our yard so it will not die like cut flowers do.
My valentine (again) this year was my cat Henry. He spent the day with me lounging on my lap while we watched romantic movies all day. I usually hear from my dad on Valentine’s Day… He called on the 15th to say he was sick all Valentine’s Day. If I win, I’m sending the Dockers to my dad!
these would be great for my hubby. he really could use some new clothes. :-)

My hubby attempted to make me a wonderful meal, although I don’t think setting off the smoke detector while broiling steaks is what he had in mind. For those of us with husbands not so great in the kitchen, it really is the thought that counts!
oh oops. forgot to say hubby got me red edged yellow roses and the new super mario brothers game for our wii for v-day. im normally not at all into video games, but this one brings me back to pleasant childhood memories. :-)
I sent you a Tweet about my husband’s cute V-Day surprise!
My love, Brad, had been so busy all week that he hadn’t had time to get me a gift for V day. Saturday, he asks me for ideas. I told him I would love a back massager. I have trouble with my back so I thought this would be a great gift. He left to go shopping and I went to start dinner. I went to my freezer and thought about how nice it would be to have another freezer. I immediately went to the phone and called Brad. I figured he would think I was crazy but Oh Well!! I told him that I would rather have a small deep freezer to go in our computer shop. Really our computer shop/office is a house next door to where we live. It’s a small one bedroom house that we have turned into our office. I started using it for stockpiling but thought “hey, why not?” If you have the space, use it! So my Valentine’s gift for this year is an extra freezer for stockpiling!!! LOL Romantic, huh?
He, also, got me flowers, a card, and chocolate covered strawberries. He is a good one. I guess I will keep him!!

For V day, we have a tradition of making a pizza and while it bakes my husband makes a heart-shaped cake (I taught him how to make/bake a cake on our first Valentine’s day together). This year he gave me strawberries with chocolate dipping sauce. Yum!
My husband was out of the country this Valentine’s Day, but still managed to send chocolate and flowers. I tweeted http://twitter.com/kimmi78_sd/status/9244920690
My husband made me some love coupons… all of which were very specific to things I love to do and things he… well.. .doesn’t enjoy doing so much. We were going to spend the evening together on Sunday, but I ended up getting sick and he spent the evening taking care of me. He’s amazing!
My husband make pancakes for me and brought them to me in bed along with our Sunday paper so I could start scanning for sales and coupons.

My husband took me out for a fantastic dinner, and coffee and chocolate afterwards. We also had a church Valentine dinner which was supposed to provide child care, though it fell through. Due to snow, we couldn’t leave the kiddos at Grandmas so we took all four with us, the littlest two stayed for the dinner with us. He was a superdad, helping me with changing diapers, holding the baby while we ate, with no complaints, the food was delicious, not exactly the dinner we had envisioned but certainly, he wins for expressing love through serving me.
My husband gave me flowers and a box of my favorite chocolate for Valentine’s Day. :)

My husband has never done anything for me for Valentine’s Day but only because I asked him long ago not to. I’m just too frugal to expect flowers or candy if I can buy them for myself but cheaper, and besides that he is ALWAYS out of town on the big day. Two years in a row in Iraq and the rest of the time on business trips or Army training. Still, I’d love to give him some pants this year!
My hubby made me dinner and took me to see the band Punch Brothers (bluegrass/classical/jazz fusion… they were amazing!)
This year, my husband planned a Babymoon Valentines day weekend. We went out to eat a lot, he made me breakfast in bed, and didn’t check his email or phone allllll weekend!

My hubby plotted for a week or so for Valentine’s weekend. It is extra special for us because it is the anniversary of when we hung out on Valentine’s day as “friends” On that day, two years ago he purchased me some nice chop sticks, made me sushi and watched “Princess Bride”… But we weren’t dating. :) He claims he did not know it was Valentine’s day.
This year was a little different. We are newlyweds and the 13th was our 6 month wedding anniversary. We are also on a much stricter budget than two years ago Well, he loves giving gifts and he didn’t do so well with the budget of $10 each. He knows that I love to paint and supports me 100%. To demonstrate this, on Friday the 12th, he came home early unannounced with a bag from our local art supply store. Its contents included a Bob Ross art book, three practice canvases, four natural fiber intermediate brushes and an oil paints set. In addition to this great gift, he grabbed some Lindt chocolates since he knows they are my favorites. He also knew that I would appreciate that he used one of my coupons for it. He gave me a big hug, told me that he believes in my abilities, and wants to do anything to help me learn and encourage me to paint more often. Unfortunately because of the budget, we did have to take some of it back. But, I still let him go over the $10. He is such a sweetie.

My hubby suprised with a nice Lobster and Steak Dinner…..The reason why it’s so special is because he can’t eat shellfish but he knows that I like it. He had Salmon instead. We had baked potatoes and salad. Topped off with a nice cheesecake with cherry sauce….what a guy.

I just remembered an important detail of the Valentine’s day weekend that was omitted in my previous entry. After stopping by home and giving me the first of his gifts on Friday night, my husband said he had plans to hang out with a guy friend for a few hours. We also had plans to hang out with other friends so he dropped me off there. He came two hours later bearing a large bag full of Ghirardelli dark chocolate dipped strawberries, oreos and s’mores. I knew he was up to something. :)
Our very first Valentine’s Day, my husband gave me a beautiful claddagh ring that he had the jewelers add two diamonds and one sapphire (my birthstone) to.

My husband helped me do yard work on Valentine’s Day, something I love to do and something he hates! It was the best gift ever, better than roses or candy!
This was a past. I came home to candles soft music and the song “One more day” He covered the ground in our condo with rose petals and chocolate kisses a trail led to a small box, the note at the end of the trail said. If you say yes, I will forever kiss the ground that you walk on! The box was a tiffany diamond engagement ring! He filmed the whole thing as well !
