One of my favorite resources when I was pregnant with my daughter was a copy of the book Baby Bargains. Believe it or not, I wasn’t even big into coupons or saving money back then, but I found this book to be extremely helpful. I was overwhelmed with all of the choices and “stuff” that comes along with having a baby and this book soon became a permanent fixture on my bedside table. I used it to help me with my registry, our furniture/mattress purchase, and so much more.
Some of my favorite features of this book are the rating system for big ticket items such as car seats and cribs, the breakdown of necessities vs. nice to haves, and all of the helpful resources and tips located throughout. I also love that new versions of this book are released regularly so that it is always full of the most up to date product information.
The authors also have a blog located here which they update with bargain tips, product safety info, and much more. If parent reviews are important to you, they have those on their site too.
Speaking of new versions being released, the 8th Edition of Baby Bargains is now available…and I have one copy to give away to one of you!

My alltime favorite baby/parenting books are the Babywise books. LOVE THEM! My daughter was sleeping through night at 3 months, and she is a very well behaved little girl due to all the things I have learned in these books.
