Gift Polls…One More Question…

Last week I asked you how much you are planning on spending per child for Christmas gifts this year. 95 of you responded, and here is a breakdown of the results:

* 26% of you plan to spend $150 or less
* 24% of you plan to spend $100 or less
* 17% of you plan to spend $50 or less
* 15% of you plan to spend $200 or less
* 8% of you plan to spend more than $200

In hindsight, I probably should have given you ranges rather than the “or less” wording, and it would have been nice to be able to track how many kids you are buying for, but if you read often you know that I’m not perfect, so we’ll go with what we’ve got.

I have one final “gift” question for you this week. I promise I am going somewhere with this…

So here is my last question. It is a simple one: Are you spending more, less, or the same on your kids for Christmas this year than you did last year? Or do you have no idea? If you don’t have kids, you can substitute your spouse or significant other (or yourself). This poll will close on Wednesday, Oct. 8th and all answers are anonoymous.
