Helping the Mid Ohio Food Bank

I recently found out about a couple of great opportunities which benefit the Mid-Ohio Food Bank that I wanted to share with my Central Ohio readers.

1) Whole Foods – Dublin, OH

All Day

We’re on a mission! And we need your help. We want to fill a school bus with non-perishable foods! We only have one day to do it. Your generous contributions will be donated to Mid-Ohio Food Bank to feed kids and families right here in Central Ohio. Also, when you shop with us this day we will donate 5% of our net sales from the Dublin store to Mid-Ohio Food Bank. See for information and volunteer opportunities.

2) Panera Bread
FREE Breakfast Sandwich at all Central Ohio Panera Bread Stores

Panera Bread is unveiling a grilled breakfast sandwich. To promote it, all stores in central Ohio will give you one free if you stop by a store before 10:30 a.m. between Friday (8/8) and Aug. 17 and bring along at least one nonperishable breakfast item to donate (to the Mid-Ohio Food Bank).

The sandwich features an egg, white cheddar cheese and bacon or sausage grilled between slices of ciabatta bread.
