I am forcing myself to complete my menu plan this week, because I know what happens when I don’t plan (lots of money down the drain). So here I sit on a holiday while my husband and daughter take a nap, figuring out what we are going to eat this week. To say that I have been in a food rut lately would be an understatement. Therefore, I am going to try to make at least 1 new recipe this week. I’ll let you know how it goes.
In terms of last week’s menu, we didn’t do too bad. We only ate out once and mostly stuck to the plan. We didn’t have steak as planned because we went to our neighbor’s house for an impromptu cook out, so we’ll be having that tonight. Oh and I thew some chopped up bacon into the BBQ Chicken Wraps and it tasted awesome!
Here is what is on our dinner menu this week…we’ll see how it goes!
Monday – Steak on the grill, rice & frozen veggies
Tuesday – Chicken Teriyaki Stir Fry & Rice
Wednesday – Eat out
Thursday – Baked Macaroni & Cheese
Friday – BBQ Chicken Salad
Saturday – Cook out/Pot Luck with friends
Sunday – Pork (grilled or baked), Mashed Potatoes & Green Beans
