Target Price Matching Policy

New in 2012, Target will be offering a new Holiday Price Match – which includes price matching from select online retailers in stores! This policy will run from 11/1/12-12/16/12. I’m excited about this because it means you’ll be able to price match with retailers such as Amazon.com!

The Target Price Match Policy is also being extended to Target.com from 11/1/12-12/24/12.

You’ll be able to find full details of the new Holiday Target Price Match Policy here, starting 10/22/12.

Here are a few highlights of the regular Target Price Matching policy when using coupons:

  • Manufacturer coupons will be applied after the price match is made.
  • Target coupons will be applied before the price match is made. If the competitor price is still lower than the price after the Target coupon has been deducted, the ad match can be adjusted to match the competitor’s price.
  • If you are using both Target and a Manufacturer coupon, the Target coupon will be applied before the price match is made. If the competitor price is still lower than the price after the Target coupon has been deducted, the ad match can be adjusted to match the competitor’s price. Once the price match is made the manufacturer coupon will be applied.

Certain exclusions do apply. Read the complete Target Price Matching Policy here.
