Quick Easy Teacher Gift Idea

Quick & Easy Teacher Gift Idea

Hello! It has been awhile since I have taken the time to sit down and write a blog post about things going on in my world. It has been an eventful year, to say the least! After 10 years of being a work at home mom, this year saw both of my girls in school full time. I had planned to put more effort in to the blog and to get into a better routine around the house, but I felt pulled to work outside of the home part time. While working at home is a HUGE blessing (and something that I still do), I am really enjoying leaving the house and working with people again too. :-)

My girls are finishing up the school year next week, and if you are a parent of school aged kids, you know that now is crunch time when it comes to school projects, concerts/programs, finishing up sports seasons, school graduations, locker posters, etc… etc… etc…!! I have been operating on a day by day basis for the past couple of weeks, and I’m sure many of you can relate!

One thing that I like to do at the end of the school year is to send in teacher/staff gifts BEFORE the last day of school. I am usually running around trying to get photos on the last day of school, and sending in the gifts beforehand simplifies that morning for me.

Today I had some time to put together our teacher gifts, and I wanted to share. I am not a super crafty, type A mom, but I do love me some Pinterest. (Check out my Gift Ideas Pinterest Board for some of my favorites!) My projects never end up perfect, I rarely come up with a completely unique idea on my own and I don’t have a lot of time to put things together. Did I mention that I am also on a budget?! That means I need EASY, quick, and affordable teacher gift ideas.

I had already purchased 3 packs of Amazon gift cards prior to this morning, but I wanted to find a cute way to gift them. I did a quick Pinterest search and found this adorable FREE printable. I used some shimmery card stock that I already had on hand, and printed 2 cards per page.

After printing the cards and taping the Amazon Gift Cards on to them, I made a quick run to Target to purchase gift bags (a 10 pack from the goody bag section of the kids party aisle), name tags and tissue paper. I also found some Chocolate Raspberry Truffles on Clearance that matched the wrapping, so I picked those up too! I love how you can dress up plain, inexpensive gift bags with cute tags and tissue paper!

I had my girls write a note to their teacher on the back of the name tag, letting them know how much we appreciate all that they do throughout the school year.

This gift was simple, inexpensive and super easy to put together! Find more fun teacher gift ideas on my Gift Idea Pinterest Board.

What are you gifting your teachers this year?
