Check out 12 Quick and Healthy Meals

by Marcy Robison at Foodie.com

It’s the new year and I know my family is trying to eat healthier after all of the rich food that we consumed over the holidays. I’m trying really hard to get back on track with Menu Planning, and I have been in the mood to find some new quick & healthy meal ideas for us to try.

One of the habits that my husband and I are really trying to break is eating out so much. Not only is it unhealthy – we spend way too much money eating out! Cooking at home is one of the best ways to reduce the amount of money that you are spending on food, and it’s better for your health as well – we all know this. But I know that I get sucked in to eating out because it is fast and because the food tastes so darn good. One of the tricks to cooking at home more for me is finding recipes that are similar to my favorite take out meals. If I’m excited about a new recipe, I’m more likely to stick to my guns and actually cook it!

I was browsing Foodie.com today and created this 12 Quick & Healthy Meal Idea Collection, where I added 12 recipes that I want to try. Feel free to check it out if you are looking to add some new recipes to your own rotation!
