Save on Gas at Shell with Fuel Rewards Network™ + a Giveaway

shell fuel rewards network

It’s summertime and the price of gasoline is on the rise. With prices around $4/gallon here in Central Ohio, filling up at the pump can be PAINFUL. That’s why I love taking advantage of fuel programs such as those offered by my local grocery stores. However, when we travel, we can’t always find the same stores where our fuel points work, and that’s why I’m exited about the Fuel Rewards Network™ program.

When you sign up for the Fuel Rewards Network™ it’s easy to save on fuel! Here are some of the ways that you can earn per gallon discounts on gasoline at Shell Stations:

  • Shop at Shell – purchase specially marked items
  • Shop Online via the Fuel Rewards Network™ website’s Online Mall
  • Dine Out – link a credit card to the dining out program and earn $0.10/gal for every $50 you spend at participating restaurants
  • Buy Groceries – check to see if your favorite stores offer the Fuel Rewards Network™ program (Bi-Lo, Hy-Vee, Winn-Dixie are a few of the larger chains that participate)

Fuel rewards savings are limited $0.75 per gallon on 20 gallons of gas, per purchase, per vehicle.

I found this program to be easy to sign up for. I opted not to add my credit card which is totally fine. For a limited time, when you sign up you’ll receive a $0.25/gal Sign Up Bonus when you purchase at least 8 gallons of gas on your first fill-up using your Fuel Rewards Network™ card.

In addition, you’ll save $0.03 per gallon all of the time! This program is free to use. Find more information and sign up here.

To save gas, I try to do several small errands in the same area of town on the same day. I try to shop at what is closest to where I work which is pretty close to most shopping.

I check online for the cheapest price, and sometimes use Walmart gift cards at Murphy gas stations, since you get several cents off.
