VeggieTales The Little Drummer Boy DVD & O Holy Night CD Giveaway

by Marcy on November 5, 2011 · 87 comments

One of my favorite holiday traditions that we do with our girls is to wrap up all of our Christmas books and DVDs, and starting on 12/1 we allow them to open one per day until Christmas Eve (when they get to open Twas the Night Before Christmas). This forces me to slow down during the hectic holiday season and spend time with the kids, reinforcing the true meaning of Christmas. Plus it is just fun! :-)

It has taken me several years to get our library built up to 24 Christmas Books & DVDs, and I am thrilled to be adding the latest VeggieTales DVD: The Little Drummer Boy to the mix this year!

My kids love VeggieTales, and this movie is sure to become one of their favorites. In this film, Junior Aspargus stars as a lonely child who finds the true meaning of Christmas when he stumbles upon the birth of baby Jesus. You can watch the trailer for VeggieTales The Little Drummer Boy here. The songs are my 5 year old’s favorite part of VeggieTales movies, and this DVD includes the new Silly Song “The 8 Polish Foods of Christmas” that you can watch here. The DVD also includes several extras and a new cut of the classic song “The Little Drummer Boy” by Dove and Grammy award winning artists Bebe and Cece Winans.

You can purchase VeggieTales The Little Drummer Boy at Walmart, VeggieTales.com, Amazon.com or wherever DVDs are sold.

If you are looking to expand your holiday CD collection, VeggieTales has also released O Holy Night: Journey of a Little Drummer Boy CD. This CD features never-before released songs from Amy Grant & Matthew West, Steven Curtis Chapman, and BeBe & CeCe Winans!

I’ll admit it – we have already been listening this CD in my mini van/bus when running to and from activities and we all love it. Learn more about this CD and listen to some partial tracks here.

I am thrilled that VeggieTales has given me The Little Drummer Boy DVD & O Holy Night CD to give away to one lucky winner!

I might just have to take up this tradition! I love how it makes you slow down and enjoy your kids! Such a great lesson/thing!

My daughter LOVES veggie tales! She would definitely be the recipient of this gift! She’s not quite 2 but knows every single silly song as soon as she hears no more than 2 notes. If she is upset while riding in the car, all we have to do is slip in a veggie tales cd and suddenly all is right in her world and she calms right down!

31 Emilia Smith November 6, 2011 at 1:42 PM

btw, I already subscribe to your site through google reader. Thanks for all the great tips! I really appreciate the idea of wrapping up Christmas books and DVDs, I think we’re going to do that this year. Thanks for the idea!
