Does Kroger double their own coupons? I didn’t think they did, and some of your calculations are based on that.

BTW thanks for what you do …. I never shop anymore without checking your site first!

How do you get the Kroger My Magazine? And do these coupons double? Thanks!

3 Marcy July 25, 2011 at 9:17 AM

A lot of the coupons in the Kroger MyMagazine are actually manufacturer’s coupons, and those will double. I think you are right about the Kroger coupons not doubling…

Adriane – you can try to send a support note through Kroger.com about getting on the mailing list, or stop by your customer service desk to see if they can help.

I was able to get the two free tubes of Crest and noticed when I got home that both boxes said there were $10 in coupons inside. The coupons were for Crest whitestrips, Iams pet food, Cover Girl and Secret. Not sure which kinds have the coupons but the kind I bought were both Crest Cavity Protection.

My Kroger’s has become quite strict on how many coupons you can use, only being able to use 2 internet printed coupons per transaction & no longer being able to combine manu. coupons with kroger coupons. I’ve been snagged quite a few times lately. Makes me sad. =( BUT I still love your blog & check it everyday! Thanks so much!!

My Kroger in Hebron Ohio only takes 3 of the same coupon and only 2 online and after they have had a manager check it. It is really a pain.

My Kroger in South Columbus only takes 3 of the same coupon too. I guess you just have to go twice! :)

9 Adriane July 26, 2011 at 12:32 PM

Great, thank you so much!

My local Kroger in Columbus takes 4 of the same manufacturer coupons, but they are pretty nice about doing a couple of transactions. (No, I’m not shelf clearing)……I just want more than 4 of something for my family sometimes! i wonder if it will be reduced to 2 or 3 soon?

I’ve noticed that sometimes I get overage on doubled coupons and other times they only bonus the coupon up to the remaining amount to make it free. I can’t pin what the difference is between the coupons either.
