What about the schick razor thats on sale with the b1g1 coupon in ss with the 3.00 off coupon from the facebook website for the xtreme? That should make the total for two packs 2.00 and something. Sorry cant remember what it was on sale for. Would that work using both coupons?

2 Mallory June 30, 2011 at 8:20 AM

I am fairly new to couponing and have some questions on the Dove deal. Is it a limit of one per person, or if I buy $30 worth of dove merchandise, will I get 2 $5 off coupons? Also, is the $15 out of pocket price paid, or merchandise total? For example, if I buy two body washes ($5 each) and use a B1G1 coupon, does that count as $10 towards the $15 needed, or only $5 since I only paid $5 out of pocket? Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

Wisk laundry detergent on sale for $3.99 /
use the $2 of Wisk from ss 6/26
= $1.99

4 Jennifer June 30, 2011 at 9:42 AM

Thanks for mentioning that one Heather!

Mallory – usually on deals like this it is one per transaction. So you can do the deal twice, but I would recommend seperate transactions. The $15 needed is before coupons, so if you buy 2 body washes, then you have $10 towards the deal. Good luck and let us know how you do!

Nick, thanks for mentioning this one, I am about out of detergent myself.

I did really good with the DOVE deal today. Just to answer the questions, it is on prices of items before coupons – I believe it might even be on regular prices of items before the sale price. It is one catalina coupon given per transaction. You can do as many transactions as you want – I did a bunch today and kept rolling the catalina I just received into my next transaction.
One really good deal I found was the Dove Men’s face and body wash. It was on sale for $3 at my store. I bought 4, using 2 BOGOF coupons, brought it down to $6 total, then minus my already acquired $5 catalina, = $1 plus tax — PLUS I got another catalina because I think its based on regular price. I did that deal again and again. I got a total of 12 body washes today, 6 mens deoderants, 5 women’s deoderants, 7 (6 packs) of soap, and 5 bottles of shampoo for about $20 total.

Hi! Jennifer – My husband & I and our 2 little girls went shopping today at GE. I just wanted to share with you on how we did the Dove deals we did 5 different transactions to get the $5 catalina coupons. The items are ringing up by shelf price.

Deals Scenario that works (we tried and it works)

Transaction #1
1 Dove 6pk bar soap ($7.99 ea shelf) $6
2 Mens Body wash ($4.49 ea shelf) $3
Total = ($17.07 shelf) $12
use 1 $4 bar soap coupon
use BOGO body wash coupon
= (pay $5.78 OOP only in the beginning trans) get $5 cat coupon

Transaction #2 (rolling the cat cpn)
1 Dove 6pk bar soap ($7.99 ea shelf) $6
2 Mens Body wash ($4.49 ea shelf) $3
Total = ($17.07 shelf) $12
use 1 $4 bar soap coupon
use BOGO body wash coupon
use $5 cat coupon from the 1st trans.
= pay $.78 OOP and get $5 cat coupon

Transaction #3 & #4 is identical to #1 #2 (same item purchase)

Transaction #5 is different cause of what coupon I have left.
1 6 pk Dove bar soap ($7.99 shelf) $6
1 Dove shampoo ($4.49 shelf) $3.50
1 Dove conditioner (4.49 shelf) $3.50
Total = ($16.97 shelf) $13
use 1 $4 Dove bar soap coupon R 6/26
use 1 $.75 (GE doubles )Dove hair care coupon R 6/26
use 1 $.75 (GE doubles) Dove hair care coupon R 6/26
use $5 from previous transaction
= pay $1 OOP and get another $5 catalina coupon

I hope this will help some of your fans about on how to work on dove to get more cat coupons.

Im a little late but if anyone lives near a friedmans grocery store they had a $3 off when you buy 4 pepsi 24oz 6 packs in their weekly ad. GE will honor his coupon. GE pepsi 6 packs were on sale 4/$9 with the coupon from Friedmans you get them for 4/$6. Thats $1.50 a piece!! (must buy 4)

8 Pam July 5, 2011 at 5:39 PM

Thanks everyone – esp. AK for laying out the transactions & the rolling thing (as well as mentioning shelf price vs. sales price) – makes all the difference!! You guys rock!! (and I’m trying to follow suit!)

9 Andrea September 1, 2011 at 5:33 PM

Thanks AK for the deal idea…..I can’t seem to find any of the coupons you mentioned (the $4 bar soap/BOGO Body wash/Dove hair care) Were these in the paper recently?
Thanks for the help!
