I just wanted to let everyone, I just found out, that my GE will take coupons up to 2weeks after they expire, which means the coupon for the Luigi’s Italian Ice that just expired, is still good! If you happen to keep them you have an even better deal!

2 Justina June 16, 2011 at 9:42 AM

my GE wont let you combine e offers with other coupons found out the hard way so be sure to check with your store before you attempt to use both.

3 Jennifer June 16, 2011 at 1:28 PM

Justina…..heres a link for GE’s coupon policy, http://www.gianteagle.com/about/policies#Coupon
You should be able to combine eoffers and coupons. I think Kroger just changed its policy but GE has not. I’d print it out and bring it with you next time.
Katrina that is awesome….not in their policy though. Who did you talk to? the Manager?

4 Christina June 16, 2011 at 5:07 PM

Corporate stores will not accept coupons past their expiration dates.

Justina and Jennifer: You can combine/stack an e-offer from the GE website and a paper coupon.

I work at GE and have confirmed this with our Customer Care people.

5 Pam June 16, 2011 at 11:20 PM

How can you tell if it is a Corporate store or not?

6 Christina June 17, 2011 at 12:38 AM

I suggest asking a cashier at your store or calling the Customer Care line. 1-800-553-2324.

7 Jennifer June 17, 2011 at 7:36 AM

Thanks for your help clearing this up Christina! I have asked customer service (emailed online) several times before and I always get the same answer – you can use a manufacturers coupon AND a Ge e-Offers on the same product. But the GE e-Offers will only come off one time, even if you buy multiples of the products. Justina, I would email corporate and explain what happened, they will likely be able to reimburse you for what should have come off.

Hey all – At my GE only the regular Aquafresh Toothpaste is on sale. Not the one we have the coupons for? Has anyone tried the Extreme Clean coupon? Aquafresh Toothpaste (6 or 6.4 oz) – $1/ea — I don’t think it is a match….

11 Katrina June 17, 2011 at 8:22 AM

I was getting a raincheck for a few items that my store ran out of, and ask what do I do if my coupon has expired before they get it back in. The head lady at the customer service desk told me that “they accept couopns up to 2 weeks after they expired” So to clarify I said “Oh you mean on rain checks, right?” And the lady said “Always” I was shocked to hear this, since Ive lost out on so many deals, and lady in line behind said ” Thats good to know, Ive never heard this before” So I guess check with your favorite GE, its worth finding out!

12 Katrina June 17, 2011 at 8:29 AM

I saw you had the bagged Tyson Ckn $3each, is there a coupon on those somewhere? My store has them $6.99.

13 Desiree June 17, 2011 at 2:54 PM

if you like Uncle Bens on facebook you can print a $0.75 off coupon which makes the rice only $0.25 after coupon. you can also go to the uncle bens website to print the coupon!

14 Dawn June 17, 2011 at 5:39 PM

Is anyone else having problems with adding and deleting e-coupons on the Giant Eagle site since they upgraded it a few weeks ago? I get a box in the center of my screen with a red arrow that continually goes in circles and they don’t add or delete. I’m very frustrated.

15 Desiree June 17, 2011 at 10:20 PM

oops…correction: the uncle bens would be free after the coupon doubles!

16 Carrie June 18, 2011 at 9:00 PM

THanks for the post!!

17 Sarah June 18, 2011 at 9:38 PM

The coupon I saw for the Uncle Ben’s Rice was for the whole grain white rice. Will that work with the ready rice?

18 Terri June 20, 2011 at 8:29 AM

The only YOPLAIT e-offer is for smoothies.

19 Jennifer June 20, 2011 at 8:34 AM

Sarah, that is why I didn’t mention the Uncle Ben’s coupon in the original post, I don’t think it will work on the ready rice.

As for the aquafresh coupon, it likely won’t work. Sometimes it is hard to tell what exactly is on sale based on just the ad because it will say something like “assorted varieties”. Sometimes the coupons aren’t very clear either. We do the best we can to match coupons and sales up exactly, but unfortunately sometimes it takes going into the store to determine if a deal will work or not.

20 Lindsey June 20, 2011 at 12:07 PM

@ Dawn, I contacted GE via email and told them I was having problems loading my coupons a couple weeks ago and said I hoped it would get sorted out soon as I was planning a trip. They gave me a $5 credit attached to my advantage card, hope that helps!
