i check your site all the time but when i click on the highlighted links to get printable coupons i cant find them on the sites! am i doing something wrong or could it be because i have a different zip? please help its killing me to lose out on some great deals!

2 melanie ott May 5, 2011 at 6:24 AM

Tampax Pearl are 3/12 use 2.00 off coupon and 2.00 off e-coupons get a box free!!!!

3 Marcy May 5, 2011 at 6:28 AM

Thanks Melanie!

Jessi – it could be a combination of things. The coupons that are available on printable coupons sites can change daily. Sometimes we accidentally post coupons that are no longer there. Sometimes they disappear within a day of us posting them. We do our best to stay on top of things, but occasionally we list coupons that are no longer available.

It could also be a zip code issue…do you have an example of a coupon from this post that you can no longer find? That will help me answer your question a little better. Thanks! :-)

I’ve got 2 questions that I hope someone can help me with. 1) Can you earn more than one ‘On Your Next Order’ coupons with the same deal in the same transaction? (Ex. if I buy $20 worth of Lean Cuisine AND $20 worth of Drumsticks will I get TWO $4 off catalinas) 2) Does GE base the OYNO coupons on the shelf price or the advantage card price in the circular? I’ve read conflicting reports on different blogs. Thanks so much!

5 Jennifer May 5, 2011 at 9:01 AM

Rachel, good questions! The answers vary depending on the deal. Sometimes the value in on the shelf cost, not the sale price, but until someone tries the deal there is no way to know. As for the catalinas it is the same answer. Sometimes you can do multiples, sometimes you can’t. If I want to do multiple deals (usually to maximize coupons I have) I will stop at the customer service desk and ask. They can usually tell me the specifics of each deal there. I wish there was a hard and fast rule, but there isn’t at GE.

i printed $1.00 any 2 toaster strudels from smart source website im not sure if its still there. also i have $.55 off any one san giorgio quick cook pasta exp. 6-30 but im not sure what insert its from and $1.00 off kraft homestyle mac and cheese all of which are on sale.

7 Rachel May 5, 2011 at 3:47 PM

Jennifer-Thanks for the info. I’ll report back what I find out for this deal after I shop.

Lauren-I found higher value coupons for the Toaster Strudels. There is a $.75 off any 2 at couponnetowk.com and a $.60 off any 2 at coupons.com. (FYI-coupon network coupons print in the middle of the page if you just print one)

Also, I checked today and the Quick Cook San Giorgio is INCLUDED in the deal.

8 Jessi May 5, 2011 at 6:42 PM

Marcy- an example of one i tried this week is the betty crocker fruit snacks. i always try to check this site to see if i can get the coupon as soon as possible (like as soon as its posted) but i cant ever find them on the coupon sites but i have been able to use deals linked to facebook and the company sites themselves. but i do live in northwest ohio and im not sure but it seems like every couponing site i visit is posted by people from other places thats why i was thinking zip may be the issue

9 Jaisa May 5, 2011 at 10:12 PM

Love this blog :)

Question! If I have 28.00 in catalinas can I use them all in one transaction or can I only use one per transaction? Some say courtesy of itunes some are health and beauty ones, some are just off your next shopping trips! I am planning on a big haul next week praying for good sales and that I do not have to do 10 diff transactions!

10 nicole May 6, 2011 at 11:50 AM

Hello
I am new at this and I cant understand the below post. Can I use the .50 coupon (when you purchase 2) for one fruit snack and then use another .50 (when you purchase 2) on the other?
Thanks,

Betty Crocker Fruit by the Foot, Gushers or General Mills Cinnamon Toast Crunch (12.8 oz) – $2.50/ea
Use $0.50/2 Betty Crocker Fruit Snacks
Use $0.50/2 Betty Crocker Fruit Snacks 5/1/2011 SS Insert (exp 6/25/2011)
Use $0.50/2 Betty Crocker Fruit Snacks 4/17/2011 SS Insert (exp 6/11/2011)
Use $1/3 General Mills Cereal 5/1/2011 SS Insert (exp 6/11/2011)
Use $1/2 General Mills Cereal 3/27/2011 SS Insert (exp 5/7/2011)
Final Price = $2-$2.17/ea

11 Heidi May 6, 2011 at 12:28 PM

I have used multiple catalinas on many occassions. As long as the policy hasn’t changed, I assume you can still do this.

12 Jennifer May 6, 2011 at 1:52 PM

Jessi, when I go to coupons.com, I just leave the zipcode blank and I tend to get more coupons available that way.

Jaisa, you should be able to use all those catalina’s at once.

Nicole, you can use 1 coupon per item or items listed. So if a coupon is $0.50/2 you can use 1 coupon per 2 items you buy. If you have a $0.50/1 then you can use 1 coupon per 1 item you buy. Does that make sense? We try to list all the different coupons that are available because we don’t know which coupons are release were and what you coupons a person has. So when we list a bunch of coupons for a sale item, those are all options of coupons out there good on that product. Hope that helps!

13 nicole May 6, 2011 at 5:42 PM

Yes it did…. Thanks

14 Lyndsy May 7, 2011 at 6:46 PM

Hi, I have a question. I read Giant Eagle’s policy and can’t seem to find anything about it.

The coupons that print out at the register, are they considered Giant Eagle Coupons or Manufacturer coupons? It says Manufacturer up top but it also says that you have to redeem it at Giant Eagle. Basically, I am wondering because I wanted to know about stacking these coupons.

Thanks!

15 lori May 7, 2011 at 7:47 PM

I do know that you can use more than one catalina. You also can do each catalina deal as many time as you wish.
I do not beleive however that you can use a coupon that double to an amount more than the price of the item.such as…does anyone know??

Colgate Toothpaste or Wave or Professional Toothbrushes – $1/ea
Use $0.75/1 Colgate Toothpaste 5/1/2011 SS Insert (exp 5/21/2011)
Use $0.75/1 Colgate Adult or Children’s Toothbrush 5/1/2011 SS Insert (exp 5/21/2011)
Final Price = FREE

16 Jennifer May 7, 2011 at 8:17 PM

Lori, the coupon would double to just $1, there would be no overage.

17 Lindsey May 8, 2011 at 5:24 PM

So, the lysol triggers get $ off instantly.. will this work for more than your first 4?

18 Kerri Wine May 9, 2011 at 7:27 AM

At my Giant Eagle, when you purchase $10 in colgate or palmolive, you get a $3 register reward. I purchased 4 palmolive bottles on sale with a coupon. They were .50 a bottle and I recieved the $3 register reward.

19 jen corrado May 9, 2011 at 11:21 AM

Hi, I am new to this. A beginners questions-can a ecoupon that is added to my giant eagle savings card be combined with a paper coupon that i present at the register?

20 lori May 9, 2011 at 7:48 PM

Yes Jen you can us an eoffer with an man. coupon. You can get some good stuff free of cheap with the combo!!

21 Lindsey May 9, 2011 at 7:55 PM

@ Jen… yes, which works great! I think it was last week I got a gillette power fusion razor $9.99 -$4 ecoupon and – $5 mfc!

22 Jamie May 9, 2011 at 10:43 PM

@ Lindsey – Thanks for answering that! I have been trying to figure out if you could use an ecoupon and mfc coupon on 1 item! That makes some good deals great!

And Marcy thanks for the matchups! This is a great site:)

23 Nicole May 11, 2011 at 9:41 AM

I know the sales end today but i found schick hydro mens shaving gel for 2 for $3.48…a few weeks ago there was a coupon in the paper for .75 off of one…use two and you can then get the shaving gel for .24 each.
