Giveaway: Bob Evans Family Meals To Go (2 winners!)

by Marcy on October 6, 2010 · 237 comments

You know how it goes…even with the best of intentions, it is sometimes difficult to get a home cooked meal on the table every night. I know that I strive to cook at least 6 nights a week, but it doesn’t always happen – life gets in the way, or I am too tired to think about cooking something. That’s why I was excited when Bob Evans asked me if I would like to try 2 of their Family Meals To Go.

Did you know that Bob Evans offers 10 Family Meals to Go for under $20? Each meal serves 3-4 people (more if you have little ones like I do), and comes with a side and choice of bread (biscuits or rolls). All that you have to do is call ahead OR order online and you can pick your meal up on the way home!

The 10 Family Meals Under $20 Include:

  • Slow Roasted Turkey Breast & Dressing
  • Turkey Bacon Cheddar Pasta
  • Grilled or Fried Chicken
  • Pot Roast Stroganoff
  • Cranberry Pecan Chicken Salad
  • Chicken & Broccoli Alfredo
  • Roast Beef
  • Chicken Parmesan
  • Meat Loaf
  • Spaghetti with Meat Sauce

Side options include: Fresh Garden Salad, Homestyle Mashed Potatoes with Gravy, Golden-Brown Home Fries, Bread & Celery Dressing, Garden Vegetables, Buttered Sweet Corn, Bob Evans Signature Coleslaw, Fresh Fruit, Steamed Broccoli Florets, Glazed Baby Carrots, Green Beans with Ham, Baked Potatoes (3)

I chose Roast Beef, Mashed Potatoes and Rolls for my first meal, and Turkey Bacon Cheddar Pasta, Green Beans and Biscuits for my second.

I love that these meals taste exactly like they do in the restaurant (YUM!) and that they are hot when I get them home. AND I don’t have to wrangle kids in a public place – could it get any better?!? :-)

We had friends over this particular night so that we could share, and there was not a complaint in the house! The only thing that would have made the meal better is if I had topped it off with a Bob Evans dessert.

Right now you can score a $2 off coupon when you “Like” Bob Evans on Facebook, valid through 11/3/10. You can also receive a coupon for B1G1 FREE Breakfast when you sign up for BE Mail.

PLUS, 2 of you are going to win 1 Bob Evans Family Meal To Go to try for yourself!

What am I giving away?
