Sears is honoring America’s service people (Police, Military, Veterans, Firefighters, Teachers and Hospital Staff) once again on Saturday, August 28, 11 AM-2 PM in-store with their Salute to Heroes Sale. Receive an extra 10% off of apparel, shoes, lawn and garden, tools, home fashions, electronics, automotive and more!

If you are a local hero, print this savings pass and take it, along with your work ID to your local Sears store to receive your extra discount! Find more info about Sears’ Salute to Heroes Sale here.

This sale is nationwide with the exception of the following cities, which will hold their event on September 4, 11 AM-2 PM in-store: Boston. MA; Seattle, WA; Miami, FL; Raleigh-Durham, NC; Dallas, TX and Cincinnati, OH.

I would give the Sears $25 gift card to my husband. He is a volunteer fireman/first responder. He volunteers to help other people. He is also a member of the Rescue Squad where he helps people in the water, extrication and helps other depts by giving them water or gatorade. He is my hero!!

We actually have two in the military . One is son in law, in Air Force stateside.

I have an elderly neighbor who is a veteran. I often make gift baskets for presents, and this would be great to take to Sears to buy some “handyman” stuff for a basket for him………..as he is always “fixing” stuff for me, and sometimes I have to run to the hardware store to pick up something he need to do the repairs!

My husband works for the army and has spent about 5 out of 9 years of our marriage in overseas in Iraq or Kuwait- missing many of our children’s birthdays, our anniversaries, and holidays. His birthday is coming up in a few weeks and our wedding anniversary is 2 weeks later. He is coming home from Kuwait in mid-September and I would love to have a big surprise for his birthday and our anniversary.
