I am in full on nesting mode right now, and yesterday I decided to head to Kroger for one last marathon shopping trip before baby – with the hopes that it would throw me into labor. Unfortunately as of now that hasn’t happened, but I did find a few additional deals that I wanted to share with you.

Boulder Canyon Potato Chips – $1.50/ea
Use $1/2 Boulder Canyon Potato Chips 5 oz +
Final Price = $1/ea when you buy 2

Mom’s Best Naturals Cereal – $2/ea
Use $0.75/1 Mom’s Best Naturals product
Final Price = $0.50/ea

Ortega Taco Seasoning Packet – $1.09/ea
Use $0.75/2 Ortega products 4/18/2010 SS Insert (exp 7/31/2010)
Final Price = $0.34/ea when you buy 2

Huggies Baby Wipes (tubs) – $1.99/ea
Use $0.50/1 Huggies Baby Wipes 4/18/2010 SS Insert (exp 5/15/2010)
Final Price =$0.99/ea

Mike-sells Potato Chips – $2.69/ea
Use $0.35/1 Mike-sells Potato Chips (regional)
Final Price = $1.99/ea

Also keep your eye out for blinkie coupons near the Kraft Cheese. At my store they had $1/2 coupons for Kraft Shredded Cheese – making it $1.50/ea when you buy 2. And right now when you buy $20 worth of select Kraft products (before coupons) you get a $2 coupon good toward your next purchase.

If you are wondering which Kellogg’s cereals are on sale for $1.97, I saw Rice Krispies, Raisin Bran, Froot Loops, Frosted Flakes and Apple Jacks at my store (more may be included). This ends up being a great deal when you use your coupons because of the $4 Catalina coupon (if you buy 5 boxes). Here is what my scenario looked like:

Apple Jacks Cereal – $1.97/ea
Used a $0.70/1 coupon that came in my Sunday newspaper bag a few weeks ago
Paid $0.47/ea after the coupon doubled

(2) Raisin Bran Cereal – $1.97/ea
Used $1/2 Kellogg’s Cereals 11.4 oz+ 4/11/2010 RP Insert (exp 5/23/2010)
Paid $1.47/ea – $2.94 total

(2) Rice Krispies Cereal – $1.97/ea
Used $1.50/2 Kellogg’s Cereals 3/28/2010 RP Insert (exp 5/9/2010)
Paid $1.24/ea – $2.48 total

Total Paid Out of Pocket = $5.89 for 5 boxes of cereal ($1.18/ea) PLUS I received a $4 coupon valid toward my next purchase. That was like getting 5 boxes of Kellogg’s Cereal for $1.89 ($0.38/ea)!

Finally, in regards to the P&G promotion, I did find a few additional items that are part of the sale, but not as many as I had hoped. The only thing that I found remotely exciting was that some of the 100 mL Crest Rinse bottles had 250 mL bonus bottles attached to them. Oh, and Clairol Hair Color for $2.49 after coupon. Be sure to keep your eye out for those if it is on your list! Updates to the P&G list have been made in my original Kroger post for this week.

Have you found any additional deals at Kroger this week? If so, I would love to hear about them!

My Kroger had the Tide Stain Release packs as part of the PG participating items and was $4.99 after the $1 off and then used a $3 off coupon from PG Brandsaver from 5/2, making it only $1.99.

Marcy,
I was so mad when my first son was 5 days late (and the Dr. wasn’t ready to induce yet) that I trimmed all my hedges, hoping it would speed things along. Took the little guy two more days to show up!!!!!

Francie – It’s funny…I was really mad this week too…and I felt bad for being mad! It took me a couple of days to get over it – and did help when I got an induction date. Baby should be here tomorrow! :-)
