Just to let everyone know, I am not sure if all targets are doing it, but I was informed today if you have any coupons over I believe $5…you have to wait for manager approval…I had some “free” coupons today so I had to wait, doesnt bother me as long as I can use my coupons…just an FYI :0)…like I said IDK if all stores are doing

I tried to use the $1.00 coupons on the travel size Tide & St. Ives products and was told that our Target had a “software update” so they can’t change the price on the coupons and they won’t let you have overage that would be used on other items. So those products are a no-go at my Target in Saginaw, MI. :-(

My husband and I went to Target on Saturday night and our cashier told us that Target is changing thier policy with thier coupons. They will no longer accept coupons if it is for more than the price of the product.

Unfortunately even with a written corporate coupon policy, each individual store seems to take liberties with the policy and how it applies to them. :-( Michelle – I haven’t heard about a change to their policy, but if I do I will be sure to post about it. In the meantime, having a printed copy on hand when shopping (to show them at customer service) is your best line of defense.

wondering what area you are in? my 3/21 SS did not have the St. Ives Q,nor did my 4/11RP have the vaseline sheer infusion. or the $3 Motrin Q in the 4/18 RP

Debbie – I live in Columbus OH. Coupon inserts vary so much even within the same state that it is impossible to keep track of the differences, unfortunately. One option is to use online clipping services to buy the coupons you didn’t receive.

I had a difficult cashier today who didnt know she was allowed to reduce down coupons to match the price. I told her she could and her supervisor confirmed it. She said she’d get in trouble because they get graded on their speed and having to type in the price of each coupon would slow her down. Not sure why its so hard for stores to train their cashiers better so coupons arent such an issue. But I was able to get 5 St Ives facial scrubs, 1 Tide packet and 4 Suave deodorants for free after coupons :)

I went last night and I was able to find the 3 shelf bookcases that are 29.99 on clearance for $17.48. Then I wondered to the kitchen appliance area and found a Oster blender (plastic) marked for 16.99 and I was able to use the $5.00 off coupon. Finally, I ended in the purse section and found 2 Merona purses on clearance and used 2 $5.00 coupons made them free. The total prior to coupons $44.45 paid oop $31.83. I was happy.

Just wanted to let everyone know that there is a Buitoni coupon available here http://www.buitoni.com/Coupon/60840/Buitoni-Recipes-Section-Coupon.aspx?utm_source=google&utm_medium=ppc&utm_term=coupon&utm_campaign=q12010 , which is for $1 off and will work with the Target store coupon to lower the price to $4.99.
