I am new to couponing and was wondering where I get the coupons like Smartsource and Red plum. Can I find them online? If not, can I still buy the sunday paper and get them? If anybody could help that would be great!!

Coupon amount may be reduced if it exceeds the value of the item after other discounts or coupons are applied.

Julie~ My target must not have this policy because if I use a $2 coupon on an item that only cost $1 it still takes $2 off my total! I always make sure I have other items when I use coupons like this so my total doesn’t go into the negative. Sometimes their computer makes a beep noise (like it’s rejecting my coupon) and the cashier makes sure I bought the product then puts it though. Maybe it just depends on your cashier.

I was told that Target’s system won’t accept coupons that make an item free – I had trouble with the Connect-4 game and with the 2.5 oz. Shave gel for that reason. The person I spoke with said that the item has to total at least $0.01 after coupons in order for the transaction to work.

I just used both of those Connect Four coupons today at Target and got the game free. I didn’t realize the Target coupons was for the Connect 4X4.

Sarah: The $3 off Target Web Coupon for Hasbro games is for Connect 4×4, Battleship, or Bop It. Connect 4 is different from Connect 4×4. I got excited, too, but they shouldn’t be used together.
