Meijer: $0.88 Quaker Instant Oatmeal – Includes New True Delights!

by Marcy on March 1, 2010 · 3 comments

Today I made a rare (for me) trip to Meijer to stock up on $0.88 Quaker Instant Oatmeal and kicked myself for not printing the $1/1 coupon for the new Quaker True Delights Instant Oatmeal – because it was included in the sale! Because I don’t want you kicking yourself too, I thought I would share this info with you. :-)

Here are the details:

Quaker Instant Oatmeal (select varieties) – $1.88/ea
Use $1/1 in 2/7 Red Plum insert or $1/1 here (IE) or here (FF)
Use $1/1 Quaker True Delights Instant Oatmeal here
Final Price = $0.88/ea

I will say that the shelves seemed to be emptying quickly of Quaker Oatmeal at my store, so if you plan to take advantage of this deal, I would do it sooner rather than later. And if they are out of it, be sure to ask about a rain check since the coupons don’t expire for awhile.

I was thinking of stocking up on these since we love oatmeal. Just wondering if this is a ‘best’ price or a ‘good’ price? I should have kept a record of grocery items (price book) because often times there’s too much rolling around in my brain to remember. I guess I HAVE to buy a better phone with a grocery application? :)

Ellen – personally I don’t think you’ll find a price much lower than this. It typically runs anywhere from $3-4.50 at Meijer and Kroger when not on sale…and Quaker coupons only come out once or twice a year.

What do the rest of you think?
