Mary – if your store normally doubles up to 99 cents, here is how it would work:

Coupons up to 50 cents will triple
Coupons between 51-99 cents will double as normal
Coupons $1 or more are face value

I have had both happen at Kroger in terms of overage – sometimes I receive it and sometimes the value of my coupons are adjusted down to make the item free but not a money maker.

Another question for you about Triple Qs days-
Is it only up to 50 cents or do the 75 cent Qs triple too? And do you know if you have a product that is 1.40 and you use a 50 cent tripled Q, do you make 10 cents or is the system smart enough at Kroger to only allow cents off up the the actual price?

I just confirmed by phone that my Bellefontaine Ohio store is having triple coupons starting this Thursday. I think everyone in Great Lakes may be participating. At least that’s what I’m hearing.
