My Apologies

I posted about this on Facebook and Twitter on Sunday, but wanted to take a minute to mention it here as well. If any of you experienced a spammy/virus/malware message or pop up box this weekend while visiting my site, you have my sincerest apologies.

I spent part of Sunday  morning trying to figure out what was going on, and early Sunday afternoon I removed the code from my site that I believe was causing the issue. This issue has been (and currently is) plaguing several other blogs as well, and the owners of the code in question are working to resolve the issue (from what I understand). Please know that I will not add this code back on to my site unless I feel confident that this issue has been resolved and will not impact my readers again.

Since the removal of the code on Sunday, I have not heard of anyone else experiencing this issue on my site. If you do think that you have seen this since Sunday (around 2 PM EST) please let me know ASAP.

Thanks so much for your patience and again, my apologies to those who were impacted over the weekend.

UPDATE: If you accidentally installed the malware that popped up on my site over the weekend, please contact directly and they will work with you to assist in removal.

My husband just had to clean a virus off our home computer yesterday. I don’t know if it was from your site or not. We couldn’t figure out where it came from. But it corrupted our internet explorer.

Jayna – if it came from my site you probably would have known. For the readers impacted a bunch of crazy pop ups came up.

I was wondering what was going on! I missed out on the glass bottle freebie because of this issue, I had to wait for my husband to come home to check it out before I could do anything! I’m so happy you found the source!
