I called Kroger in Southern IL and they said you can do the promotion 2 times on each transaction. Not sure if this varies by region or not.

I found several more Mega Event items during my trip this morning.

Ro*tel Tomatoes are .49 after discount so the .30/1 coupon from the 1/24 inserts would make them free. Be on the lookout for .25/1 blinkies for this product. My central Ohio store had them so I was able to get a couple additional cans! (Don’t worry, I only took two and left the rest for other lucky shoppers.)

Nature Valley Nut Clusters were also included. $2.49 with the mega event but there are $1/1 coupons from cellfire and shortcuts or you can use the recent .50/1 from the GM insert.

Quaker Chewy Bars included as well. Just $1.79 with the mega event and I used a .55/1 coupon to get them for .69 a box! Sorry, don’t remember which insert, except that this coupon expires 1/31.

Sadly, Baked Lays were not included in the event, only regular. Wish I had more time to peruse the aisles for other non-advertised items to plan for next week!

Sarah – the limit must be regional b/c my Kroger in Central OH is not limiting.

Whitney – thanks so much for the additions! I’m getting ready to update the post now with some of your additions plus a few I found myself tonight. :-)

Thanks for sharing the additional deals you found Whitney. I always get frustrated because I plan for the right amount of items for the sales and then I get to the store and find all kinds of non-advertised items also included.

Cellfire Q for Lean Pockets.

Did I overlook the Birdseye Steamfresh veggies on the list? I saw both Steamfresh veggies and lightly sauced pastas at Kroger tonight for $1.49 after promo. You can also go to http://www.birdseyesteamfresh.com and get a $1/2 coupon for the lightly sauced variety.

If I load two coupons, from different sites, for one item, will it take both off?
.-= LCM´s last blog ..Vomit =-.

8 Marcy January 26, 2010 at 8:29 PM

LCM – if you have loaded 2 of the same coupons from 2 different sites, one will come off at a time. If you buy 1 item, one will be redeemed, if you buy 2, both will be redeemed. What I can’t answer is what order they will come off (Cellfire first or Shortcuts first – for example).

I think the Tampax coupon is for a free 18-20 count WYB a 36-60 count. I just used it this week, and the 40 count box (my Kroger only carries 20 or 40 count boxes) was $6.99 or maybe a little less. The 20 count box is $2.99.

I went last night to pick up the Nut Clusters and Fiber One Bars (oat and chocolate flavor) and at my store (Tx) the chocolate is not included in the sale. The only ones included are the apple flavor and the caramel flavor. Not sure if that is every Kroger, but I thought I would mention it to help others out. :)

I did pick up my 10 items for under $10 dollars! That included 3 boxes of Wheat Thins, 4 Nature Valley Nut Clusters, 1 box of Quaker Chewy Bars, 2 bars of Kraft cheese! Yay!!

11 Emily January 30, 2010 at 3:17 PM

Marcy-

Cellfire coupons come off before Shortcuts. I was just at Kroger, and I had the exact same coupons loaded from both sites ($1 off NV Granola nut clusters, $.55/2 toaster strudels, etc). The cellfire ones came off, so they must be first. Also, the cellfire leanpockets did NOT come off. Not sure what happened there. Anyway, just thought you might be interested to know.

12 Marcy January 30, 2010 at 6:11 PM

Thanks for the info Emily!

Re: Cellfire and Lean Pockets – the CF coupon is for breakfast sandwiches only. Not sure which you bought.

13 Emily February 1, 2010 at 10:44 AM

Ah, so that’s why the cellfire leanpockets coupon didn’t come off. Good to know. Guess I should have read the whole thing.
