I work at Target and I just read an email that was sent out that said there are many q's out there that do not specify the size of the item and thus yes they are allowed to be used on travel sized...unless it specfically states no trial ect.

Also the reusable bag discount is totally TRUE. We just put out new barcode stickers for the cashiers to scan that give a credit of 5 cents per bag. Remind your cashier too, cause it does not prompt them!

Oh and just to clarify the bag discount is only good if you bring in a reusable bag...so in other words if you say, "i dont need a bag with that, ill just carry it...or oh I have a plastic target bag from my last shopping trip....or a paper one from the grocery store...those are all no's for the discount!

I showed them the printed Coupon policy and it still does no good. After 4 calls to corporate and 1 call to the manager yesterday I was assured that I would have no more trouble with them. We will see. I’m heading there tomorrow

The best advice I have for those of you who have issues redeeming coupons at Target is to take a copy of Target's coupon policy with you when shopping (link at the top of this post). I wish I could help more, but that is the best thing that I know to do.

I also think that creating registries at Target might have something to do with receiving coupon mailers, but I'm not 100% sure.

I’m pretty sure that creating a baby registry with Target gets you on the baby products mailing list, and probably the general one, too. Having ordered from them probably gets you on the latter list.

We received a $0.40/1 coupon in the Red Plum insert for Skippy Peanut Butter today, which would make for an even better deal when stacked with the Target coupon. :)

Yeah target does give me a lot of problems which is why even though there might be a good deal…I usually pass on it. Walgreens, CVS, and Rite Aid don’t ever give me any problems.

Thanks for the list! About the trial sized items you’ve listed, I’ve been told at two different Targets by several different cashiers that Target does not accept coupons for trial sizes unless they specifically mention trial sizes are allowed on the coupon, which is ridiculous of course — they aren’t going to list EVERY size that’s out there, only exclusions. Very frustrating, but just not worth the battling it out at the registers for me. Anyone else have this trouble?

I am having all kinds of trouble at Target. First 2 weeks ago I used the 3.00 of man. coupon for Purina One plus the 2.00 of target coupon. Priced matched them at 4.99 from Kroger. Now as of yesterday they are still accusing me of illegally obtaining the Purina One and have been telling this to customers. I called the manager and I’ve also sent a email to corporate. I’m so frustrated with Target. I would love to go get the peanut butter but I know it’s going to be a hassle. Any suggestions here?
