Do you all know that if the bar code starts with a 5 it will double automatically unless the cashier overrides. If you look closely the Wacky Mac has that limitation but ours double too.

Also our store has Zone Perfect bars on sale 8/$10 - $.55 doubled = $.15 each!! or valued up to $1 = $.25 each!! We love these!! Even my kids eat them!

So glad I found you...I am not far from a Columbus district store (Washington CH) and am always trying to redo everyones math! THANKS for posting!

P.S. Do you all have Bigg's up there? What about Cubs?

Thanks, Marcy. I tried it at my Kroger last night and they doubled them. I scored tons of super cheap cereal! Now I just need to find room to store the 6 boxes from Kroger last night plus the 2 boxes from Walgreens earlier this week plus the 5 Kashi boxes from Target last week!

Sara – my store doubles these anyway, but it does depend on your store and your cashier. I think that the registers will automatically double them, but the cashiers can override it – but I could be wrong.

On the .55 and .75 General Mills printables they say at the top “Do Not Double or Triple.” Does anyone know if stores follow this? I would think that it is just built into the computer to double coupons up to their allowable limit. Isn’t it up to the store if they want to double it?
