Robin to the Rescue Cookbook Giveaway

If you are a fan of the Food Network you have no doubt caught an episode of Quick Fix Meals with Robin Miller. I love Robin's concept of shopping in bulk and preparing meal kits to use later in the week. She also makes good use of her slow cooker which is one item in my kitchen that I couldn't live without! Robin's methods also appeal to me because she offers recipes for healthy, weekday meals with minimal prep time.

Robin recently wrote a new cookbook called Robin to the Rescue which contains 200 time saving recipes that are well organized, easy to read and full of helpful hints and tips. You can read more about Robin and her cookbooks and even view some of her recipes on her website here.

I am thrilled to announce that Robin sent me one autographed copy of her new cookbook Robin to the Rescue to give to one of my very lucky readers! This book would be a great addition to your own kitchen and would also make a great gift. What's even more fun is that Robin autographed the book! Quite frankly it is going to be hard for me to give this one up! :-)

What am I giving away?

One *autographed* copy of Robin to the Rescue by Robin Miller.

How can you win?

I love making a variety platter of sweets that we share with several people. What is great is by the time we get done, my urge to eat a lot of sweets is gone after a sample or two of each. (Peanut Butter Fudge, Buckeyes, homemade caramels, Cornflake Christmas wreaths, etc.)

As far as a meal, I am up for anything new. Bring on the cookbook.

I'm looking forward to our Christmas Eve Strawberry Daiquris. We make a batch of them (non alcoholic for the kids...and slightly spiked for the adults). Then we all pile on the couch and watch Christmas movies and eat popcorn. Strawberry Daiquris were always my request growing up and mom would make them one time a year. It was always a lot of fun to make them because we had such a crappy blender. We had to beat the crap out the ice before it even went into it :) My mom always hated this part and I think it's why we only did this once a year. Thanks for the giveaway!!
