Cellfire.com Update & New Freebie at Kroger

I wanted to post an update about Cellfire.com now that I have had the time to check it out. (Just in case you are new to this site, Cellfire.com is a new service that allows you to load e-coupons on to your Kroger Plus shopping card for additional savings.)

First, I wanted to let you know that I was able to successfully use the coupons that I loaded on to my Kroger Plus card from my PC – using my home phone number when I registered. So it looks like you can use this service even if your cell doesn’t have texting capabilities!

Second, I have heard that you cannot “triple dip” coupons using Cellfire. It was originally thought that you could use coupons from Cellfire, Shortcuts & the newspaper all at the same time, but I have heard that only one of the e-coupons will be redeemed at a time. If you have found otherwise, please let us know in the comments.

Finally, I wanted to let you know that there are some new coupons on Cellfire.com right now, including 2 – $1.50/1 Colgate Toothpaste (Max Fresh & Total), and when combined with manufacturer’s coupons, you can get 2 (large) Colgate Toothpastes for FREE!

Here’s how:

* Load 2 – $1.50/1 coupons on to your Kroger Plus card here
* Use $1/1 Colgate Max Fresh in the 11/2 Smart Source insert
* Use $1.50/1 Colgate Total here or in Sept. & Oct. Issues of All You magazine
* Look for Colgate Toothpaste marked $2.50 or less at your local Kroger
* Redeem your coupons and get both for FREE plus possible $0.50 overage!

I love all of the coupon options that Kroger offers us! This appears to be another great way to save. Guess we’ll have to stay tuned to see what else they come up with! :-)

P.S. Thanks to TriStateSaver for pointing out that you can add the FREE Oatmeal coupon again even if you have already used it once. The last day to add this coupon is 11/17.
