My CVS Deals

by Marcy on October 22, 2008 · 0 comments

Today I decided to run to CVS to buy a few things that I am currently out of. I haven’t been to CVS in quite awhile, so I didn’t have any ECB’s to spend.

While I am not a super CVS’er like many of my fellow bloggers out there, I thought I scored some decent deals. Here are my transactions:

Transaction #1:

* 2 Packs of Huggies Pullups (29 ct) – $9.99/ea; I used 2- $2/1 coupons
* 1 Huggies Baby Wipes (80 ct) – $2.79/ea; I used 1 – $0.50/1 coupon
* 1 Package of Q-Tips (375 ct) – $2.49

Total Spent After Coupons: $22.47
ECB’s Earned: $10.00

Transaction #2:

* Excedrin Back & Body (24 ct) – $1.99/ea; I used 1 – $2/1 coupon making this free!
* Excedrin Extra Strength (24 ct) – $1.99/ea; I used 1 – $2/1 coupon making this free!
* 2 Men’s Degree Deodorant – $1.99/ea; I used $1/2 coupon
* Women’s Dove Deodorant – $1.99/ea
* 2 Colgate Total Whitening Toothpaste (4.2 oz) – $2.79 for both (on sale B1G1 free); I used 1- $1.50/1 coupon and 1 – $1/1 coupon making these $0.15/ea
* Mango Apriocot Wax Product – $6.99/ea; I used 1 – $1/1 coupon inside the package

I also used the $10 in ECB’s from transaction #1.

Total Spent After Coupons: $1.89
ECB’s Earned: $0

Once again I have no ECB’s, but I may transfer a prescription soon to get a $25 gift card. I am starting to run low on several toiletry items that I had stockpiled during the first few months of the year, which means I’ll probably be making more trips to CVS in the next couple of months.

My total spent today was $24.36 for several items that I needed. That brings my total for groceries/toiletries/household items to $75.78 so far this week. I may still make a Meijer run if time permits…we’ll see!

Note: I saw several canisters of Similac Formula on an end cap for 75% off. Just wanted to mention that in case you use formula.
