You can earn free gift cards when you purchase several of the items, a certain dollar amount per item is donated to Breast Cancer research, AND if you shop online you can get free shipping on select items. Our vacuum has been dying a slow death for the last 8 years, so we decided it was time to replace it this week (yes, it has been an expensive week and it is only Tuesday). Today we bought a Dyson “pink” vacuum at Target for $399. We received a $100 Target gift card at the register, plus $30 of our purchase amount will go toward Breast Cancer Research. (I also had a $20 Target GC from the Kashi deal last week).

I must say that this vacuum put our $80 Dirt Devil to shame. We had vacuumed our living room with the Dirt Devil this morning, and decided to do it again once we got the Dyson home, just to see how well it would work. I am somewhat embarrassed to say that the Dyson sucked up more dirt and dust than I care to think about. It was both gross and fascinating at the same time. Sorry…this post is turning into a Dyson review which is not what I intended!
