No....not literally. :-)
A little over two years ago my life was forever changed by the birth of my daughter. My view points have changed about parenting, life/work balance, and many other things since becoming a parent. One of the "many other things" that has changed has been my view point about what exactly is in our food, and most recently, what is in the products that we use on our bodies on a daily basis.
In my search for earth friendly and chemical free baby/kids products, I came across a company called Kiss My Face. I hopped on to their website to learn more, and I was intrigued. I liked what I saw, and wanted to learn more, so I contacted them about hosting a giveaway on my site. I figured if I liked what I saw, that many of you will probably like what you see as well!
So what are they all about?
Kiss My Face is committed to creating all natural products that are healthy and caring - for our bodies and for the environment. Their products contain no artificial colors, no unnecessary chemicals, no animal ingredients and are not tested on animals. You can read more about their company values here.
Recently, Kiss My Face launched a brand new line of kids products. They contain no artificial colors or fragrances, no parabens and no Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (hooray!!). Their kids line contains everything from lip balm to toothpaste, to shampoo. And I must say, I have never received such a lovely smelling package in the mail in my entire life! :-)
I have been using the toothpaste with fluoride, bubble wash and shampoo/conditioner on my daughter, and I have been very impressed with these products. They smell great, work well & give me peace of mind knowing that I am using products that are both safe and effective. The fact that they are earth friendly is icing on the cake!
Kiss My Face also makes a full line of products for adults, including body care, face care, and hair care. To check out all of the products offered by Kiss My Face, check out their website here.
What are we giving away?
3 Lucky Winners will win an assortment of the new Kiss My Face Kids Products, viewable here!
The prizes are as follows:
* 1 - 2-pack Whale Soap, Toothpaste with Fluoride, Self-Foaming Hand Wash, Detangler, Self-Foaming Shampoo & Body Wash, Shampoo & Conditioner, & 2-pack Lip Balm (7 products total)
* 1 - 2-pack Whale Soap, Toothpaste with Fluoride, Self-Foaming Hand Wash, Detangler, & Self-foaming Shampoo & Body Wash (5 products total)
* 1 - Bubble Wash, 2-pack Lip Balm, & Toothpaste (3 products total)
It Gets Better!
The awesome folks at Kiss My Face are also offering a deal for my readers. Now through 9/30/08, use this code: KMFBLOG3 to get 30% off of your entire purchase when you shop at their online store here.
How can you win?
All that you have to do is leave a comment letting me know what product(s) most catches your eye. Please include a valid email address in your comment.
For an extra chance to win, post about this giveaway on your blog, and come back and leave the link in the comments. Only valid links will be entered, all others will be deleted.
Who is eligible?
You must have a valid US Address to be eligible. That's it! As I mentioned previously, please be sure to leave a valid email address in your comment so that I can contact you if you are a winner.
When does this giveaway end?
Sunday Sept. 14th. I will post the winners first thing Monday morning (Sept. 15th).
Good luck, and thanks so much to Kiss My Face for hosting this giveaway!
P.S. I also learned that Kiss My Face Products are sold at Target, Whole Foods, and many other stores that carry natural products. I have seen them at Giant Eagle, for example.

How can you notice anything without thinking of how cute that little whale soap is!!! I saw these in Target the other day, took a sniff (OMG delicious!!) but put it back when I saw the price tag-ouch! Especially if DD's older brothers get a hold of it and let it "melt" during their bathtime!
andreareynolds@suddenlink.net
I use tons of detangler. I am always looking for one that works better. Thanks! kwalrath@cox.net

I would LOVE to win these products! I have 2 under 2 and am constantly spending money on bath products looking for relief for my son's eczema! Natural products seem to help. Thanks for this opportunity.

Thanks for mentioning this company. The self-foaming shampoo and body wash sounds wonderful. I currently use California Baby, but I'm not thrilled with it.
Thanks!
Erica

I love Kiss My Face but didn't know they had a kids line. I'm interested in their shampoo & conditioner.
FYI, California Baby products are incredible. Expensive but incredible! They have the only sunblock I will use on my kids.
Thanks Marcy!

Hey girl! I would have to say that my favorite product would have to be the Orange U Smart Self Foaming Shampoo & Body Wash. I love the fact that I don't have to pull out two different tubes to get the kiddos clean.
I also posted about your give-a-way on my blog. The link can be found here: http://pennypinchingdiva.blogspot.com/2008/09/kiss-my-face-give-way.html

The self-foaming hair and body wash intrigues me... "self-foaming" as in no water needed? I'd love to try it!

I am very interested in the Orange U Smart Bubble Wash. I like products that can be used for multiple purposes i.e. shampoo and body wash. I will definitely look into Kiss My Face at our Target.

The self foaming shampoo/body wash looks interesting, as all of the products do! Great giveaway!
elireeves(at)stny(dot)rr(dot)com
Oh I love their products! You're absolutely right, it feels so good knowing that what you're putting on your kid is safe and healthy, and as a bonus is earth friendly. It's always been important to me to use things that are natural wherever possible with my little one, and especially if it is something that will sit on the skin, like lip balm, moisturizers, and detanglers. I'll use a non-natural shampoo if I have to (although I much prefer not to), but I will go out of my way to be sure that anything sitting on her skin or being absorbed over time is as natural as can be!
Thanks so much for this giveaway, it is wonderful!
danyellalee [at] gmail [dot] com
I'll be linking to you at Chic Critique on Thursday!
Love the whale soap and the toothpaste with floride!!
shopnsavy(at)hotmail(dot)com
My little people would love the bubble bath. My daughter has eczema and we have to be very careful about what we use on her. Most natural products like this are fine for her skin. But I think the chapstick would get the biggest rave reviews around here. Both of mine have to have all natural chapstick or they get a rash around their mouth. So they would love this for sure!
I an interested in the foaming shampoo/body wash. I can't wait to check this out at our Target.
Kiss My Face Orange U Smart Bubble Wash- my kids love bubble baths but it's almost impossible to find one without all the chemicals!

Hey Marcy - these products look great! I would most be interested in the shampoo/conditioner and the lip balm. Although, with my 3yo DSs new lip-biting habit, a yummy lip balm may be the opposite of what I need to find! Do they make a really yucky tasting one? ;-) I'd leave my email, but you know it already...
My favorite is everything...I do think the shampoo and body wash sounds great for my little one. Thanks for the opportunity to win something new to try.
elizabethwhitehill@gmail.com
How Great - I'm telling my sister about this line (and if I win...I'll probably share my prize with her too). Her son is in remission and is always looking for inexpensive ways to go all-natural.
Thanks for the tip!
Morning,
With 2 girls and long hair we need the Creme Detangler..LOL.. I like that it's natural, we are using more "Green" products here and moving old out!

I had never heard of Kiss My face before, but I am glad that you wrote about it because it looks great. I think that my kids would love thier products. I think the thing that really catches my eye is the lip balm because my kids just live "lipflops" (aka. lipgloss) and I hate that they get it all over thier face and in thier mouths. I like that they are all natural and am definately going to check out getting some.

The Kiss My Face detangler caught my eye! Tangled hair is a BIG issue in my house with my daughter's hair and every morning I am putting on another product to try to make doing her hair and getting the tangles out not so bad. It would be nice knowing I am putting on a chemically safe detangler rather than one long in the chemical names. Sooz sooz@cableone.net

The detangler is a must in our house! Thanks!
Love the Bubble Wash! What kid wouldn't want to take a bath, right?! :)
I have used a few "Kiss My Face" products for myself (I bought them at Meijer when I lived in Ohio)... their shampoo line for grown ups is awesome (I've used "Miss Treated" with super results). Also, my family DEARLY LOVES the Grapefruit & Bergamont foaming hand soap.
Of the kid products you have pictured, the "Bubble Wash" caught my eye. I've not tried any of the products in the picture, so it was hard to choose just one!! :-) My little girls love bubbles in their bath, but I have to be very careful to buy natural products so we don't end up with UTI issues.
Thanks so much for the great blog,

I love the Orange you smart hand soap b/c I like to wash dd's hands with something all natural b/c she has her hands in her mouth all day. I can't keep her hands out of her mouth all of the time but I can control what she washes them with. Thanks for the great review. There are so many all natural products on the market that it helps to have tried and true "testers" of the products. I live just south of Columbus so I love your coupon and store ad match ups! rb008@yahoo.com
I'm very interested in the lip balm. Most companies put a lot of chemicals in their balms. It's nice to know these a bit safer
The product that caught my eye the most was the self foaming hair and body wash. The reason, my 3 year old daughter loves to wash her own hair but with her little hands and unexperience she has a hard time lathering the soap. She puts it in, rubs it around a little and thinks she did a great job, indeed she did, but not what is needed to get clean. This product is geniuos b/c they created a step for my child to learn what clean means. When it is already lathered she will learn what it should feel like to have lathered hair and then scrub for cleanliness. They have taken the guess work out and focused on what little children need to learn, how to properly clean themselves.
Thanks!

I don't know what the whale soap is but it certainly sounds cute. Please include me in your giveaway. Thanks - Joanne - glamourgirljoanne@yahoo.com
I love Kiss My Face products! They are all natural and great for the skin! My girl would love the shampoo/body wash - but she already uses their detangler!

The whale shaped soap looks fun and I think my children would have so much fun with them.
Everything looks great, but my daughter would love the detangler on her beautiful blond hair. kmiller1631@cfl.rr.com
I'd be interested in the shampoo, my son has problems with dry skin and this is an interest to me.

I have six kids so a lot of it got my attention. The tooth paste and the sunscreen as well as the shampoo really stoof out for me. We spend a lot of time at the beach even in the winter so I really like the sun screen idea. And I am always looking for tooth paste that all the kids will like.
