A Few More Notes about Target

by Marcy on September 17, 2008 · 0 comments

DH, DD and I ran to Target today for a few things that we needed around the house. Not to mention that the $100 gift card we received when we purchased our new vacuum yesterday (yes, yesterday) was burning a hole in my pocket!

While there, I found *tons* of items on clearance. There were lots of kitchen and household items marked down, as well as what is left of their school supplies. School supplies are now 75% off, and there are some great deals to be found (especially on notebook paper…$0.12!!). Here is what I purchased for about $4.50.

My best find was one lonely 5 Star, 5 Subject notebook shoved behind a bunch of folders and notebooks for only $0.98! I wish I could have found more of those because that is a steal! I will keep the other notebooks on hand for my daughter…she likes to stick stickers in them and to “draw” pictures. At less than $0.40/ea I figured it was worth stocking up. The packs of stickers were only $0.24/ea which is also a great deal.

I’m sure that selection varies by store, but if you haven’t checked it out yet and are going to be near a Target, it may be worth a quick look. I spied notebooks, loose leaf paper, scissors, pencil cases, folders, binders, and much more at the stores I visited. Shop the perimeter of the store to find the best deals.

Also, if you are new to couponing and haven’t read much about Target online yet, you can print Target coupons here, here and here. You can also print coupons from the Target website at the registry kiosks inside Target stores. These coupons can be used in conjuction with manufacturers coupons for even greater savings.
