Super Savings Saturday (Kroger, Rite Aid, CVS & Giant Eagle)

After a month or so of feeling like I was in a “deal” rut, I finally feel like I have gotten some great ones this week!

First, I shared about how I saved 67% on my total at Kroger here (total out of pocket was $43.20).

I also made a trip to Rite Aid (when I was out of town at my mom’s house), and purchased a 20 ct. box of Electasol Powerball tabs. They were on sale for $2.99 (reg. $4.99), and I had a coupon for $2.25. My total out of pocket was $0.74, PLUS I have a $2 rebate form. Which means I made $1.26 on my purchase. At the time I wished I had more coupons, but I’ll take what I can get! :)

I stopped at CVS this week to stock up on laundry detergent because I have been running low, and it was on sale B1G1 Free. I used 4 – $1/1 printables for All Free and Clear here. My total out of pocket after sale and coupons was $9.86!

Finally, I went to Giant Eagle to use the rest of my $3/1 Planters coupons, and the $4 in store coupons that I earned last weekend. I purchased the products below for $23.14 after sales and coupons. That was a savings of 52%!

My total out of pocket for this week: $74.94 for groceries and household items. I need some extra cash during the next two weeks, so I am going to try to lower our grocery budget to $50/week for the next two weeks. Stay tuned…it will definitely be a challenge for me…not because we need much, but because I have a hard time not shopping for deals!
