Kroger Deals - 7/21-7/27

Sorry for the delay in getting this posted...as I mentioned earlier, lightning knocked out my Internet connection for 24 hrs., but I am now back in business! :-)

Here are a few *ton* of deals that I see at Kroger this week. I am posting them as part of the Grocery Gathering which is hosted at BeCentsAble. Be sure to check out BeCentsAble for great deals at many of your favorite stores!

Please note that my Kroger store doubles coupons up to $0.99, and that I am using a Central Ohio ad. Please check your local ad to confirm deals in your area

This week the big promo at Kroger is the 10 Item Mega Event. If you purchase 10 qualifying items, you save $5 off of your order, limit 3 per order (and using your Kroger Plus card). All of the prices listed below assume that you are buying at least 10 participating items. All other grocery deals that are not part of the Mega Event are listed at the bottom of this post.
Update: I have the Mega Event items broken out by price below, but you just have to purchase 10 items total - not 10 from each list.
NOTE: This list has been updated with coupons from the 7/27 inserts and should be applicable for the week of 7/28-8/3. Please share your Kroger scenarios/deals here if you haven't already! :-)

Thank you for posting these deals! I was just at Kroger today and wanted to point out this Rice Krispies coupon. I printed off a couple of them and was able to get 2 boxes at $0.50/ea.

It's about time there were actually some good deals at our grocery stores! Lately, I feel like I haven't really been able to "stretch a buck" so thanks for posting!

Anonymous - I totally agree...I feel the same way and was happy to see this sale this week. Thanks for commenting. :)

Watch your receipts...I just got back--I triple checked my stuff over and I feel they shorted me $5.00. I bought 30 items, yet my reciept only showed the discount of two $5.00. I even took out my add and wrote the number of each item I purchased on top of the add--I bought 10 items from the $1.00 group, 10 items from the $1.50 group, and 10 items from the $2.00 group. If I make it back over there this week I intend to present my reciept and add cause I just don't see where it could be my mistake. I highlighted on my receipt all purchases I made of the deal items and I have a total of 30 highlighted items.....therefore I should have gotten $15.00 off my order not just 10.....So watch your receipts and hopefully this is not a national computer type glitch.
Thanks for posting the deals!

Thanks so much! I had the coupon for the cookie mix and Dove ice cream so I really appreciate the link for the Hot Sauce. This is a great post.

Looks like you've got 2 anonymous-es :-) I'm the one who left you the Rice Krispies coupon link. Freebies4Mom recommended your site to me a month or two ago because I was looking for a blogger who was posting Ohio Kroger deals. Since then I check in with you at least once a week! I live about 2 hours southeast of Columbus. I also blog, but it's not public :-)

I appreciate your blog. I live in the Texas area and our sales begin on Wed. So I usually check your blog a few days in advance to get a preview!! Helps me to get prepared with my coupons :)

Thank you for detailing this so well. I live in Columbus and the Kroger ad was so confusing and overwhelming, but I knew there had to be some great deals in there! I'm a Giant Eagle shopper normally, but this deal makes a Kroger trip worth it this week!

Great post! I am bummed though because my Kroger won't take printable coupons :(

robyn said...

It doesn't have to be 10 from each list, just 10 total, right? I'm headed out tonight. THANKS

Marcy said...

Robyn -right...only 10 total - not 10 from each list. Thank you for your comment...I updated the post to clairify b/c that was confusing. :)

Donna - thanks for the heads up. Hopefully they will refund you once they check out your reciept. I'm sure customer service varies by store, but I have always had good luck at Kroger when something doesn't ring up correctly.

Georgia Momma - Kroger now posts printable coupons on their website (kroger.com). Have you asked why they won't take printables if they are offering them on their site? Good luck to you...hopefully they will change their policy some day!

Becky, Minda, Layla, Leigh - thank you so much for reading and for commenting. I LOVE to get comments and appreciate the feedback. Happy shopping this week! :-)

so it is okay to buy more than ten items.

Marcy said...

Anon. - you can buy as many items as you want, but you will get $5 off for every 10 participating items that your purchase (limit 3). So if you buy 11 items, you'll get $5 off. If you buy 20 items, you'll get $10 off. If you buy 23 items, you'll get $10 off. 30 items...$15 off. etc... Hope that helps!

Does Kroger double the $.50 internet Betty Crocker Cookie Mix coupon even though on the coupon it says DO NOT DOUBLE?

Just curious.
Thanks.

Marcy said...

Nate - so far the only time an internet coupon that said "do not double" didn't double for me was when I took it took it to the customer service desk because I had forgotten to hand it to the cashier. And I think the only reason it didn't double was because they had to manually enter it. I'm thinking that if it'll scan, it'll double, but I suppose this could vary by store. Any one else have a different experience than me with this?

There is a coupon for the Edward's & Mrs. Smith frozen desserts. It is $1.00/2. It would make each one $1.00.

Beccamon said...

Every time I have taken one in that says that, they automatically double it at the register...but it may vary by stores. I am in KS.

Hairline Fracture said...

Thanks so much for the list! It will make it very easy to plan...and save.

I noticed that the deal for the Lean Cuisine says that I can print a coupon on this site but I can't fine a link to it. Please help! Thank you for your coupon ideas.

Marcy said...

Sorry about that! The link to the Lean Cuisine coupon is up now. I didn't try to print it myself, so you'll have to let me know if it doesnt work.

Adventures of Laura said...

I found Mrs. Smith's/Edwards pie coupons in the 5/11 Smart Source and in the 6/29 Smart Source. Hope that helps someone!

Richelle said...

According to couponmom.com, there is a $2 coupon for the Reynolds Handi-Vac bags in the 06-26 SmartSource, which would make this free with $0.50 overage.

Angie @ KEEP BELIEVING said...

When I bought 2 Pledge, I got a catalina for $2 off my next purchase from Pledge. I have heard that if you buy 2 Windex, then you will get one for $1.50 off your next purchase from Windex. I thought some of you might want to try this.

Our Kroger stores in southeastern Michigan and greater Toledo only double coupons up to 50 cents. It appears that your Kroger doubles up to $1...lucky you!

Thank you for all the great information and for doing so much of the work for us.
