Garden Update

It is amazing how fast plants can grow in just a few short weeks. A couple of weeks ago I posted about our container garden experiment. Today I thought it was time to “harvest” some of our lettuce, so I just went ahead and took pictures of our plants again. Because clearly I have too much time on my hands.

I think my husband and I have both caught the gardening bug. We live in the suburbs so we can’t have a full scale garden, but it is fun to see what we can grow in planters and pots, and in our flower beds. It is so cool to be able to walk out to my patio to cut lettuce for our salads that we are eating for dinner. I know where the food is coming from, what has been sprayed (or not) on it, not to mention that the seeds and plants were cheap. It is hard not to love it. :)

Tomato Plants (Grape & Cherry)

Cucumbers

Pumpkins

Oregano, Parsley, Basil

Green Peppers, Bibb Lettuce
